The librarian may not be able to have the ultimate outcome for every user. That being said, the time and attention, along with the access provided should be equitable to all. Personal bias and lack of attention should be set aside in order to help all who enter the library. People are constantly trying to take credit for other peoples work until the copyright as been established. The librarians role is to play the middle person between creator and copyright holder. That may be the same person or a team of people. The librarian must just provide access to information and nothing more. Censorship:
Censorship can effect policy and selection of material. We must distinguish between obscene and offensive material. Librarians must consider their clientele such as children when choosing to censor. Neutrality is choosing to allow others to censor for you.
