It's been about 2 years since I planted those lima beans. I haven't been to the garden since I moved far away last year. Right now, I'm in 8th grade with so many friends and I have great grades that surprise me everytime I get them. My mom and my sister are happier than when we lived in Cleveland, I don't know why but I feel more lonely here than in Cleveland. I keep on asking my mother if we could visit the garden again but she always says she doesn't have the time. I have becoming restless nowadays just to visit but my mom always refuses! I just want to visit my old family.

I still am protecting the garden but I'm not doing it as much as I want to. I got a job as a security guard after people saw me protect the garden from thieves. I make minimum wage but I take what I can get. I still am homeless but I look like I've been living in a home with my money and all. The only problem is I don't want to save my money and that means I can't afford a house or apartment. I tried asking my parents to take me back but they think I'll change back to my old ways.

I'm still planting my tomatoes but the sign I put down a few years ago now says Lateesha's & Curtis' Tomatoes. I'm now planting my tomatoes with the woman that I love, Lateesha. We made up after she noticed my my tomato garden and we dated a few weeks later. I'm now happily engaged to her and we're getting married in 3 months. I opened up my own gym and It's really popular right now.

My father has died and I'm planting lettuce in his memory. He died when he

was driving to a restaraunt to sell his nearly perfect lettuce. After the incident I'm planting lettuce for him and I'm actually growing perfect ones. My family earnedalmost $200 from it! But now I'm in high school and I don't have time for the garden since I've had so much homework. Now we've haven't been selling as much lettuce.

I am almost out of time now, I'm sick and old and not the way I used to be. I have someone to assist me when I have my walks now. I watch the garden every now and then, but it's not the way it used to be the old man who watched them with me is now dead. I hate that death is possible, you only live for such a short time. The doctor predicts I have 3 more years.

I still can't believe that I wanted this child gone, he is such a joy to be with! He is a bit annoying at times but I can't help but love him. He's off to school now and it's the most happiest I've ever been. No screaming, no crying, no noise, no nothing. After the first day of school I was a bit disappointed to see that he got in so much trouble. I got a phone call at my office that he pushed a kid to the ground. I asked the principal of the school I was working at if I could check on my kid, he accepted. After I picked him up I had a long talk with him about violence and bullying. I assumed he understood but all of this bullying couldn't stop and since the principal has declined my recent requests of going to his school I'm afraid what else my kid will do.
