It had lots of twists and turns. It surprising kept me reading even with the books lack of action. It is a captivating story. As it follows the illegal life of Luke Garner. It might not have any fighting but believe me its not boring.

          I would recommend this book to people who like books that have lots of suspense less action but more plot and thinking involved. After I fished the first book I find myself craving the next one. As Luke tries to escape from the corrupt government, I tried to escape from my homework to keep reading. I enjoyed reading this book.

I chose the phrase Third child because all the third children are illegal. I chose the word hidden because Luke is a third child so he spent his life hiding.         I chose the word population police because those are the government police who track down third children. I put the word watching because the population police they are rumored to wire tap everyone and are everywhere. I included the word illegal because Luke is a illegal third child so is Jen and the other shadow children.

This book includes lots of suspense and a great plot. Yet not my favorite book due to its lack of true action it is undoubtedly a thought provoking page turner.

          Once you start it’s hard to stop. You get bought into a world were third children are illegal a law made by an evil government. Luke a shadow child finds himself on the run desperate to make it to safety and live a free life.
