Speculative Fabulation, a term coined by Donna Haraway in her book "Staying with the trouble” speaks to a method (s) of storytelling and worlding that blend fact, fiction and feminist theory to imagine alternative, non-hierarchical futures, and leaning into a notion of “wild facts” - facts that do not stay still - to create fables which invite the complexity of multispecies relationships.

SHARING SOME THREADS TO FOLLOW TOGETHER

These are some practices/scores that I am engaging in while working primarily alone in the studio, in search of something both idiosyncratic and worthwhile. They are made while one part of my body falters and then another. I don’t know if these are productive roads to travel down. They are most like threads I follow into obscurity with some faith that I may end up somewhere I want to be.

Swallows: Scores to uncover complex choreographies unfolding by chance generated by bodies following simple rules of relating and grounded in physics.
