This is a one dollar and two dollar bill from the Bank of New York used from 1824 until 1837. These bills were produced from the A. B. & C. Durand & Company, which was active in 1824–32 in the United States. This proved the usage of paper bills in the United States back in the 18th centuries and implied that the economy of the US has improved because paper money began flourishing as a result of too much work of carrying around large quantities of coins and metals for purchases.

This oil painting was painted by a french artist Jean-Honoré Fragonard in 1767. Based on the attire, people in the background, and the style of the painting, it seems like the figure was wealthy under certain status at the time. This piece vividly express the definition of Rococo art during the era, which originated in Paris, France. Some characteristics of Rococo painting are that it has mythological themes with rich and delicate usage of color+brushwork.

This steam engine was used to push transportations like cars forward and it could could produce 145 psi, which was much more powerful than the average pressure created from a steam engine back then.

This painting was painted by an American artist, Benjamin West, during the Battle of Quebec (1770) in Canada. An interesting aspect of this piece is that West portrayed General Wolfe as a Christ-like image, and this revealed to the audience that it was to describe Wolfe's innocent and pureness like Jesus Christ. Additionally, his surroundings and their attire makes him appeal to the audience that he was a significant figure during the battle, and all of these have not only created a positive image of General Wolfe, but made him seem like a martyr, although he was simply a warrior in the battle of Quebec.

This house, Monticello, was built by hundreds of slaves that Thomas Jefferson enslaved in 1768 to 1808. Jefferson built this house not just to live, but because he believed that beautiful architects could lead to social changes, inspire the public to seek education, and bring enlightenment for the Americans. There are a lot of controversies of involving countless slaves and physical abuses during the construction, and it is unfortunate to realize that those was common during the time period and it should never be replicated in any place in this era.

Because silver was used in many regions as 'money' due to its preciousness, silver signified wealth, and as a result, many silver products appeared on the market like the artifacts above.

Although the artifacts I researched from 1750 through 1850 were limited to the European countries and the United States, I could assume that people's life style has developed compared to the past centuries due to the advancements of technology and global trade. For example, we witness numerous products manufactured with precious metals like silver, and innovations like the steam engine and telegraphs connected different regions to be able to communicate and maintain long-distance relationships. Additionally, new styles of art, such as Rococo and Neoclassicism, rose in the Europe and allowed artists to express themselves in diverse ways using vivid colors and strong brush touches. Last but not least, battles flourished all over the world to gain lands and build reputations because greater land meant more crop production and exploitation, which increased trades and ultimately expanded the economy.
