But it was sad and disgusting to see that half of the men did not even know about what #metoo is or their knowledge about the same. So, it was a shock for me to see what they did to her or said to her. He shared his experience without giving out details about it. In the interview, without taking names he told us a little about his sexual misconduct experience. Also, he said what a lot of other Hollywood people have to say about it. They felt they had to endure sexual assault even though it was unacceptable. I agree with what he has to say that since these type of experiences are common in the film business, they are considered okay. In reality, they are totally unacceptable. Just because there's no check or control on them, this behaviour is tolerated. I totally disagree with this point because I'm sure there's women out there who do want legal action and will take steps to do so but sharing it on social media and calling out names of the people will make them feel that they are not alone and afurther humiliate the accused. The people with this mindset do not know the power of social media, it can bring a person from 100 to 0 and vice versa overnight. They explained how the police reports of sexual assaults peaked after #MeToo Movement, how 9/10 were females, the daily average, the various types of cases reported and overall change in Canada as well as the individual provinces. I was mildly surprised and somewhat pleased after I saw this because its a good thing that people have been affected by this Movement and are taking an initiative to come forward and take steps in order to get justice.
