I am from the city of Ibagué, which is a Colombian municipality, also called the musical capital, it has exactly 13 communes and I live in commune number 5, the neighborhood is called jordan 7. The place where I live is very nice, very well located and has excellent neighbors, it has many parks and there is a lot of commerce. I live with my mother, my stepfather, my two sisters and my son. My home is quite quiet and comfortable. They are very special people to me... when my baby is a little older and I can take care of him alone, I will become independent with my partner.

 

My daily routine is a bit hectic, I have to get up very early and constantly to feed my baby, I get up at 6:00 am to brush, shower and have breakfast, I schedule it at 7:30 am. Generally in the morning since he is sick and I have to be with him at the doctor very early, we leave the clinic depending on the time it takes to treat him, we get home, I change him, I feed him and put him to sleep, I can have lunch around 1 or 2 in the afternoon, when the baby sleeps I take a few minutes to rest, when he gets up, I go back to the usual routine and when I put him to bed I turn on the computer to do homework, it's a bit complicated since they are difficult hours trying to do them, even days since I don't have time left, I eat dinner at around 7:00 p.m. at night and I go to bed very late, at the moment I can't go out anywhere (I just have to go to the clinic just for Juan's health) since I'm following the diet so I also do this on weekends, finally I think that all the effort I put in will be worth it. 

 

The main tourist places in Ibagué are, for example,the art museum, the botanical garden, bolivar square, hawuai beach, the ecotourism park, the cathedral, the combeima canyon, the nevados national park, the conservatory, the panoptic museum  etc. 

 

The typical food in my city is the lechona and tamal, it's delicious. The  lechona is prepared  usually  with pork, onion, peas, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, chicharrón, pepper and  besides baking soda is added. The tamal is prepared with egg, chicken, pork bacon, carrot, sabanera potato, peas, seasonings, and leaves.

 

 The main  celebrations in my city are the national music festival that goes from  fisrt  from March 18 to 25, the folklore festival, of second  the industrial fair in June, agricultural fair from 16 to 30 June and  finally  the birthday of the city of Ibagué is celebrated on October 14.

 

People usually have parties, parades and dances,  always  they like to drink liquor and go out with their families to enjoy these celebrations.

 

In my city, visitors can go to the shopping malls since there is many of these, also  they can go on excursions, walks, go to rivers, swimming pools, adventures to waterfalls, go to eat different dishes,  etc.
