         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Earliest known writing dates back from the 4th century AD and were written in Javanese with the Pallava alphabet<br>- In the 15th century Javanese was also written in a version of Arabic called pegon&nbsp;<br>- In the 17th century the Javanese alphabet had its own form, but when the Japanese occupied Indonesia between 1942 to 1945 the alphabet was prohibited&nbsp;<br>- In the 19th century the Dutch introduced the Latin alphabet to Indonesia and since then the the Javanese alphabet has started to disappear<br>- Today, the Javanese alphabet is mostly used by scholars and for decoration and those who know it are considered as admirable&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
