The amount of money in the piggy bank is already 85 cents. So the mystery coins could be.....
5+ 25
10+ 10 or
25 + 25
But the coins can't be two nickels because that wouldn't be more than 1$ it would add up to 95 cents.

1. What could the mystery coins be to make the total amount of money greater than $1.

It could be two dimes because any coin smaller would be a 5 cent or a nickel and that will only get you to 95 cents which is smaller than 1 dollar or a loonie ( You could use a nickel and a dime but not two nickels) . Therefore, you have to pick a dime or any coin with a greater amount to find the mystery coins.
2. I would pick option A because if you multiply 0.25 cents or a quarter by 100, the answer you'll get is $25 and 0.75 every 4 newspapers would get me only 18.75. To sum it all up, I would choose Option A.

1. The mystery coins could be anything but 2 nickels because then the money would add up to 95 and it wouldn't be $1.

2. I would rather have option A because if you multiply 0.25 cents by 100 you would get $25. If you divide 100 by 4 you'll get 25 then multiply that by 0.75 cents and you would get $18.75. Therefore option A is greater than option B.

1. You could add a dime and likely a quarter, because a nickel would only bring to one dollar, not over one dollar.
2. I would choose the first job, and I was able to make my decision based on the unit rate. The first job would technically pay me 1 dollar for 4 newspapers, while the second pays only 75 dollars. If I delivered 100 newspapers with the first job, I would receive 25 dollars, while I'd only make 17 dollars and 75 cents with the second talk.
