It is such a pleasure to finally meet you in person. You have been a blessing to each one of us during the time that we needed someone the most. I am so grateful for you and the whole second chance team for being the rock that we needed and for pushing us to see greatness in ourselves. We will forever be grateful to you. Thank you for all the help and guidance you have given me through Second Chance. After all the disappointments that came with applying for university, I was almost giving up. But, you beleived in me even when I lost hope. Thanks to your help, and the Second Chance Team, you changed the trajectory of where my future was headed, and I can already see the imapct all the lessons learned from you are making in my life, and spilling over to different people around me. You are someone who believed in us even when we didn't. You are someone who has gone to great lengths to fight for us and to get us into places we only ever dreamed of. I remember that feeling of hopelessness when I felt like I had wasted so much time and resources applying to different universities and had ended up with no viable offer. I felt like my future was in shambles. But still you believed in me and pushed me to become better. And I still have a long way to go, but it is incredible how far I am willing to go right now because you believed in me, because second chance believed in me. Thank you for an opportunity in the midst of what felt like a dry spell. Being rejected two cycles in a row really drained my family's resources and we were desperate. But then Second Chance came along and completely changed the tragectory of things. In every meeting, you came across as determined and confident and your enthusiasm for providing education to people was even more apparent in person! I'm so glad to know you, Ms. Liu and I just want you to know that we've got your back every step of the way.

I just want to thank you for everything the past few years, you were an instrumental part in my university experience and likely I wouldn't have had this experience if it weren't for you and the rest of the second chance team and the councillors. I want to let you know that we truly do appreciate all you have done for us and I hope you know how much gratitude we have not only for the work you've done for us but also for the others after us.

I also thank you for opening up multiple opportunities for us to contribute and help out with the future batches and also connect as a community. I look forward to the time that when our batch graduates this year, we can thank you and also hopefully be able to give back once we've established ourselves among the professional ranks. I look forward to the next generations wonderful students who get their chance through Second Chance and also for Second Chance to be an established institution for overlooked students to find refuge and universities to notice the unnoticed talents therein.

I am so grateful to finally meet you in person. We first met (via zoom) at, perhaps, one of my lowest points in life when I doubted in myself and my abilities.

I am over the moon that I am now able to say that is no longer the case. My time at HKU has been nothing short of wondrous. You gave us the hope we very much needed and rekindled the passion we had for learning. You are a great and inspirational leader and you will always have a place in my heart.
