In this case, for the Holocaust, Hitler had made laws that made it possible for Germans to commit those horrible acts against Jews. This shows and raises awareness on how people on the top of the government can use their power for violent purposes,  for their nation and sometimes for others as well. In this case for the holocaust the people of Germany had a very important role  in all the killing of Jews. For example, German doctors and nurses took part in "Operation T4", which was an euthanasia program by the Nazis. This was program led to the killing of about 200,000 mentally, physically disabled, men, women, and children (over 6 years).
