This blog is about my trip to Yucatan to see the "Chichen Itza" and Cuzco to visit "Machu Picchu".

"Chichen Itza" in Yucatan:

Yucatan is a region in Mexico, next to "Quintana Roo" and "Campeche". It is famous for its warm weather, beautiful landscapes, and the famous "Chichen Itza".

"Chichen Itza" is one of the most famous and fascinating ancient archaeological sites in Mexico.

These are large structures and ruins.

Made by the Maya people a long time ago, between the 6th to 10th centuries CE

The best part of the trip was walking around the ruins of Chichen Itza, exploring the area near the ancient pyramids. It is important to note that there is a prohibition on climb or entering the ruins

The entrance fee depends on the season and is obligatory with a tour, totaling around 300 soles per person. Lodging near the site is unavailable; instead, accommodations outside the area cost approximately 150 soles per night per person.

In total, combining travel, lodging, and the tour, the cost comes to about 3,000 soles per person, but keep in mind this is just for a one day trip.

I documented my experiences thanks to my laptop. With my cellphone, I take many photos.

Thanks to this, I can keep these memories better.

"Machu Picchu" in Cuzco

Cuzco is a fantastic región between Apurimac and Puno, and near Ayacucho and Junin , It is expensive, especially due to its status as home to one of the wonders of the world, Machu Picchu.

Lodging in Cuzco can range from 400 to 700 soles depending on the season. For food, I enjoyed a memorable quinoa soup for lunch. Compared to "Chichen Itza", Cuzco is significantly cheaper. The cost to visit Machu Picchu was about 200 soles, but you also need to take a train which costs 135 soles. I don't know the reason of that price.

In total, visiting Machu Picchu in Cuzco costs around 1000 soles per person.

While both Yucatan and Cuzco offer unique experiences, Yucatan is generally more expensive overall.

Peru and China are home to some of the most famous monuments in the world. Both Machu Picchu in Peru and the Great Wall of China attract millions of visitors each year. These places offer unique experiences and breathtaking views, making them must-see destinations.

Macchu Picchu:
This ancient Inca city is smaller than the Great Wall of China, but it is just as surprising for its buildings and its location in the mountains. There are different ways to visit Machu Picchu. Tickets are $50 USD for Machu Picchu only and $70 USD for Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu. In the town of Aguas Calientes, near Machu Picchu, there are hotels and restaurants. Machu Picchu is one of the most visited ancient sites in the world, known for its excellent views and history.

The Great Wall of China:
The Great Wall is the longest building in the world, more than 21,000 kilometers long. It is much larger than Machu Picchu and tickets start at $8 USD. There are many parts of the Great Wall to visit, each with a special experience. The Great Wall is the most visited place in China, with many tourists every year. Nearby towns have places to stay and eat. Walking the Great Wall is an incredible experience due to its long length and history.

Both Machu Picchu and the Great Wall of China are amazing places. Machu Picchu is smaller but beautiful with its mountains and old buildings. The Great Wall is bigger and longer. There are many tourists in both places. They are some of the most special places to visit in the world.
thanks you.

Blog about tourist places in Peru:
There is a floating island of the Uros-Puno

In the Peruvian highlands is the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca, in Puno. There you can find the Floating Islands of the Uros, a set of approximately 80 islands built of reeds, there is an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca. The reed is woven and laid on another layer beneath it to build the surface of each island.
To get to the Uros Islands you will have to board at the port of Puno. If you do not have a contracted tour, there are residents who offer the service. Getting to the Uros Islands from the mainland is a trip of approximately 30 minutes and costs approximately 10 soles per person.
During the journey from the mainland to one of the Uros Islands, you can see reed plants that grow in Lake Titicaca and that constitute the basic source of food, and at the same time as a maintenance system that the Uros have to perpetuate the existence of the islands.
Upon arriving at one of the islands, the women of the community will welcome you with their typical clothing and songs, likewise the chief of the island will give a cordial welcome in his native language, Uro. There you will meet the family that lives on the island and they will show you their way of life. You can also tour the island, take photos, and if you love souvenirs from the places you visit, you can buy crafts. Likewise, you can take a ride on their boat made of reeds, which costs around 10 soles.
As for amenities, there are now solar panels on the Uros Islands to provide light at night and eco-friendly toilets for visitors.

CANDELARIA, PUNO - PERU

On the shores of Lake Titicaca, the “Mamacha Candelaria” celebration
In Puno, from January 24 to February 11, they celebrate the largest festival in all of Peru in tribute to the patron saint of this highland city. The rituals that are celebrated in honor of the Virgin of Candelaria are the result of two cultures and religions: Catholic and pre-Hispanic.
The day begins early, venerating the Virgen de la Candelaria through the streets of Puno with the accompaniment of the Danzas Mestiza groups, who pay tribute in this multitudinous procession, dancing along a route of more than 4 kilometers.
There you can enjoy various zonal parades in the north and south of the city. Days later, the Closing Ceremony takes place, and the awards for the Virgen de la Candelaria Regional Dance Competition are presented.

Traveling through Peru Visiting "Lake Titicaca" in Puno Visiting "Santa Marta" in Colombia

Good evening, my name is Fabrizio, I travel a lot, and on this occasion, I have to visit Puno and Arequipa. This blog is about my trip to see the wonders that our country contains and enjoy an excellent adventure.

Lake Titicaca in Puno:

Puno is a region in Peru, located between Peru and Bolivia. It is famous for its high altitude, stunning landscapes, and the renowned Lake Titicaca.

Lake Titicaca is the most famous and fascinating high-altitude lake in Peru.

There are beautiful views of the lake from the city of Puno.

The lake is situated at an altitude of 3,812 meters above sea level, making it the highest navigable lake in the world.

The best part of the trip was visiting the Uros Floating Islands. They are unique and offer a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the Uros people. The islands are made entirely of totora reeds and are located in the middle of the lake.

The boat tour to the islands cost 60 dollars, the lodging in Puno cost 200 soles per person, and the food around 30 to 50 soles in a restaurant.

In total, the trip cost around 360 soles per person.

Santa Marta and Cartagena in Colombia:

Santa Marta is a city in Colombia, located to the northeast of Cartagena. It is famous for its stunning beaches, tropical climate, and rich history.

Cartagena is one of the most famous and beautiful colonial cities in Colombia.

There are colorful colonial buildings and historic fortresses in Cartagena.

The city is located on the northern coast of Colombia, next to the Caribbean Sea.

The best part of the trip was visiting the historic walled city in Cartagena. They are well-preserved and offer a glimpse into the colonial past. There are also beautiful beaches nearby, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun.

In Santa Marta, the visit to Tayrona National Natural Park was unforgettable. They are known for their stunning beaches and lush tropical forests. The park is located to the east of Santa Marta.

The cost of a guided tour in Cartagena was 50 dollars, the lodging in a boutique hotel within the walled city cost 300,000 Colombian pesos per person, and the food around 40,000 to 70,000 pesos in a local restaurant.

In total, the trip cost around 600,000 Colombian pesos per person.

Los Organos beach is located in the north of Peru, Piura. To get there I took a plane from Lima to Talara, Piura which costs $70 dollars.

Consequently, I rented a car which is S/150 per day and drove two hours to Los Organos.

I stayed in a hotel that costs S/150 per night and is located in Punta Veleros in Los Organos, it is a complex that only has 5 cabins. All the cabins have a swimming pool and it is up to you to choose which bungalows you want to stay in.

It has a capacity of up to 5 people per bungalow by the way.

You get a lot of privacy there, it is a serene and beautiful environment.

You can see the sea day and night since the hotel is in front of it, the weather is ideal for a vacation. There is a pier in Los Organos, there are tours there to delight tourists with whale watching.

During the tour you can pass by an abandoned oil tower where different birds and sea lions are located.

Also on this tour you can enjoy swimming with large sea turtles at a very affordable price, you can swim with them and play with them, but you can not touch them because they are very important.

We should not miss the opportunity to pass through Mancora being in the north and certainly we must mention the great variety of dishes there. The seafood delights all diners in the restaurants there, although there are also more foods that have different proteins.

Finally, this experience was unique without a doubt and enjoying the beach was something very beautiful, the food, the atmosphere, the experiences and more were a set of things that helped too much to enjoy the trip. I would definitely travel again.

The price to swim with them is S/89.00 (eighty-nine) suns per person. . Includes a photograph taken with an underwater camera, sent to your cell phone. Other important sites can also be found such as the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Sacred Rock, each with its own meaning and mystery. In addition to its impressive architecture, Machu Picchu offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, deep valleys, and the Urubamba River that meanders through the landscape. The diversity of flora and fauna in the region is also notable, as it is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species.

The mystical atmosphere and the feeling of being in a place away from modern civilization make visiting Machu Picchu an unforgettable experience. The fog that sometimes envelops the place adds a touch of mystery and creates a magical atmosphere.

Although it is a popular tourist destination, the vast expanse of Machu Picchu allows you to find moments of tranquility and contemplation, especially on the trails that lead to the citadel or at points further away from the main area. There, you can appreciate the greatness of this ancient wonder and connect with the history and splendor of the Inca civilization.

Blog: Exploring Tourist Destinations in Peru and Around the World: A Comparative Guide

Introduction

When it comes to planning a business trip with a twist of adventure, choosing the right destination is crucial. Whether you're looking to explore the cultural richness of Peru or the cosmopolitan allure of other global hotspots, making an informed decision involves comparing costs, activities, and experiences. In this blog, we'll delve into some of the most captivating tourist destinations in Peru and around the world, using comparative and superlative adjectives to guide your choice.

Peru: A Land of Mystical Beauty

Machu Picchu: The Most Iconic Ruin

Machu Picchu is undoubtedly the most famous archaeological site in Peru, if not the world. Nestled high in the Andes Mountains, this ancient Incan city is more breathtaking than any other historical site you'll find. The trek to Machu Picchu is challenging yet incredibly rewarding, offering the most stunning views you can imagine. Compared to other historical tours around the globe, the entrance fee to Machu Picchu is relatively affordable, making it the best value for your money.

Cusco: The Most Charming City

Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, is the most charming city in Peru. With its narrow cobblestone streets, vibrant markets, and historic architecture, Cusco is more picturesque than Lima, the country's bustling capital. For business travelers, Cusco offers a unique blend of work and leisure. You can hold meetings in the morning and spend your afternoons exploring the most captivating local attractions, such as the Sacred Valley and Sacsayhuamán. In terms of accommodation, Cusco is generally more affordable than many major cities in Europe and North America.

World Destinations: Competing with Peru

Paris: The Most Romantic City

Paris, often hailed as the most romantic city in the world, offers a different charm compared to Cusco. While Cusco is steeped in ancient history, Paris is known for its art, fashion, and cuisine. Business meetings in Paris can be followed by visits to world-class museums like the Louvre, making it a richer cultural experience. However, be prepared to spend more, as Paris is one of the most expensive cities in Europe.

Tokyo: The Most Technologically Advanced

If you're looking for a destination that embodies the pinnacle of modernity, Tokyo is the place to be. Tokyo's bustling metropolis is far more technologically advanced than any city in Peru. The city is a hub for international business, offering state-of-the-art facilities for meetings and conferences. After work, you can explore the most innovative attractions, such as the robot restaurants and digital art museums. However, Tokyo's cost of living is among the highest in the world, so budget accordingly.

Comparing Prices and Activities

Accommodation

Peru: Generally, accommodation in Peru is more affordable than in many other popular destinations. A luxury hotel in Cusco or Lima will cost significantly less than a comparable hotel in Paris or Tokyo.

Paris: Expect to pay a premium for even mid-range hotels. Paris offers some of the most luxurious accommodations, but at a much higher price.

Tokyo: Hotels in Tokyo are similarly priced to those in Paris, with options ranging from capsule hotels to five-star international chains.

Dining

Peru: Peruvian cuisine is not only delicious but also economical. A meal at a high-end restaurant in Peru will cost less than a similar experience in Paris or Tokyo.

Paris: Dining in Paris can be a luxurious experience but comes with a hefty price tag, especially in renowned Michelin-starred restaurants.

Tokyo: Tokyo offers a wide range of dining options, from affordable street food to extravagant sushi experiences. The cost can vary widely, but top-tier dining is typically more expensive than in Peru.

Activities

Peru: Activities such as guided tours, hiking, and cultural experiences in Peru are relatively inexpensive. The cost of exploring Machu Picchu is much lower compared to the entrance fees for major attractions in Paris or Tokyo.

Paris: Museum passes, river cruises, and guided tours in Paris can add up quickly. However, the city's rich cultural offerings make it a worthwhile investment.

Tokyo: Activities in Tokyo, such as tech exhibitions, theme parks, and unique dining experiences, can be quite costly, but they offer unparalleled experiences.

Conclusion

When planning a business trip with an opportunity for exploration, Peru offers some of the best value for money compared to many world-renowned destinations. From the mystical ruins of Machu Picchu to the charming streets of Cusco, Peru is an ideal choice for those looking to combine business with adventure. While cities like Paris and Tokyo provide their own unique attractions and experiences, they come with a higher price tag. Ultimately, your choice will depend on your budget, interests, and the type of experience you seek.

Peru and Brazil are countries full of spectacular tourist destinations that offer unique and memorable experiences. In this blog, we will explore two of these places: the Huacachina, a magical oasis in the desert of Ica, Peru, and Rio de Janeiro, the vibrant Brazilian city famous for its beaches and carnival. We will compare prices, job opportunities and activities through a business conversation.

The Huacachina is definitely cheaper and offers a unique experience with activities such as sandboarding and buggy rides. On the other hand, Rio de Janeiro is more vibrant and expensive, with its famous beaches and the iconic Christ the Redeemer. In Huacachina, the opportunities are mainly in tourism and hospitality, such as tour guides and buggy operators. In Rio de Janeiro, there is more variety, from tourism to entertainment, especially during the carnival.

In Huacachina we can organize sandboarding competitions and buggy rides, which are exciting and encourage the cohesion of the team. The tranquility of the lagoon is perfect for brainstorming and relaxation sessions. In Rio, on the other hand, we could enjoy the beaches, do cultural tours and, if we go during the carnival season, participate in the festivities. Although it is more expensive, the cultural experience is incomparable.

The hotels and activitiesin Brazil and Peru can vary depending on the area and more if they are touristy, in La Huacachina would cost 30 dollars a night which is near to the lagoon, Buggy ride is costing $25 which is cheaper than many activities that are carried out in Rio de Janeiro and the Sandboarding class costs $20. On the other hand, in Rio de Janeiro the stay costs $80 a night which is more expensive than in the Huacachina, the entrance of Christ the Redeemer $20 and the Sugar Bread Tour is costing $30 which is equivalent to almost the same as a buggy ride.

Although both places stand out in their own as sport, culture, tourism and memorable experiences. There are tourists who highlight the Huacachina for its accessibility and uniqueness.

Travel, adventure and history

Today we will talk about two tourist places that we can find in America. Welcome to this blog!

Perú: Machu Picchu, the wonderful city of the Incas

This amazing place is located in the departament of Cusco, In the southern mountains of Peru, next to the departamentos of Arequipa and Junín, and between the departments of Madre de Dios and Abancay. Machu Picchu is one of the seven wonders of the world, which makes it one of the main tourist attractions in Peru, having more than one and a half million visitors a year. This place stands out for the grandeur and beauty of its entire archaeological complex.

The flight time from Lima to Cusco lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes and the price of tickets can vary between $120 to $200 dollars. As for the price of hotels in the city of Cusco, it can vary between $100 to $300 dollars, depending on where it is located and the services it offers.

One of the most famous and recommended hotels in Cusco is "El Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Cusco", this beautiful hotel is located in the center of the city, in front of the beautiful "Templo del Coricancha" and it is a short distance walking from the central train station, next to the hotel there are clothing stores, travel agencies, restaurants, markets, etc. Its rooms have elegant and modern decoration and there are single and family rooms with private bathrooms. In the hotel there are 2 restaurants, there is free WI-FI, there is a gym, there is an indoor pool, there is a bar , and other services.

The trip from Cusco to the Ollantaytambo station by miniban costs approximately $3 dollars, the train ticket from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes approximately $140 dollars and the bus ticket from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu $24 dollars and the entrance to Machupicchu $47 dollars. And all these would be the expenses to finally reach Machu Picchu.

Activities in Machu Picchu:

There are activities that you should do while in this wonderful place: take the best photo at the Guardian's House, climb the Huayna Picchu mountain, climb the Machu Picchu mountain, visit the Puerta del Sol, or Visit the Intihuatana, the clock of Inca sun.

And of course enjoy the incredible gastronomy in the different restaurants in the city.

México: Chichén Itzá, The city of water sorcerers.

Chiché Itzá is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico, famous for its impressive architecture and well-preserved structures. This wonderful place approximately between two million to two and a half million visitors a year, more annual visitors than Machu Picchu in Peru

This place is located in the state of Yucatán in eastern Mexico, between Mérida Yucatán and the also famous city of Cancún. The latter being the main tourist city from where travelers visit the Mayan Site. It is 200 km or 124 miles from Cancún to Chichén Itzá and the trip is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, it is recommended to take the road to Chichén Itzá from Cancún by bus, as there are small Mayan towns along the way that can make the trip a little more interesting, the cost is approximately $17 dollars.

The price of hotels near Chichen Itza can vary between $32 and $110 dollars, some nicer than others. The hotel they usually recommend is "El Hotel Chichén Itzá", which is located less than 1.5 km from the famous ruins of Chichén Itzá. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, tropical gardens, and its rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV. There are essential services very close to the hotel, there are some restaurants where you can find different dishes, there is a convenience store less than a block away, there are souvenir shops, there are some clothing stores and some other services.

General admission to Chichén Itzá costs approximately $35 dollars.

Activities in Chinchén Itza

There are some activities that you should do if you go to this wonderful place: Visit the iconic pyramid of Kukulcá, the astronomical observatory, the beautiful natural pool "El Canote Sagrado" and explore the "Templo de los gerreros".

Both places are wonderful if you want to consider them for your next trip. In terms of accessibility, getting to Chichen Itza is much easier whether you make the trip from Cancun or directly from Mexico. On the other hand, to get to Mchupicchu the route is longer and takes a little more time. As for the price, it will depend a lot on what you are looking for, as there are affordable prices for both places, however visiting Machupicchu is usually more expensive due to all the costs involved in getting to the place.

Hello, today I will talk to you about two countries, Peru and Colombia. I will share with you what I perceive about them, based on the researched computerized data of these two wonderful countries that made me very happy to get to know them. Additionally, I could record everything with my iPad and cell phones, as it was easier to charge them.

Colombia has a longer coastline in the Caribbean. Additionally, its music is much more diverse than that of Peru. On the other hand, Peruvian cuisine is more internationally famous than Colombian cuisine. Regarding the economy, Colombia has been more stable than Peru in recent years. However, Peru has more mineral resources than Colombia.

The Amazon River is the longest river that runs through both countries. Moreover, Machu Picchu is one of the most well-known wonders of the world, while the Barranquilla Carnival in Colombia is one of the largest festivals in South America. Lima, on the other hand, is the largest city in Peru.

Colombia is one of the largest coffee producers in the world, but Peru is one of the largest exporters of gold. Ecuador is located between both countries, and the Amazon River flows between the two countries.

The Pacific Ocean is behind the western coast of Peru. Similarly, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is located behind the northern coast of Colombia.

Regarding travel costs, the average cost of round-trip tickets from Chile to Peru ranges from $300 to $600, while the average cost of round-trip tickets from Chile to Colombia ranges from $400 to $700 USD. Therefore, traveling to Colombia would be much more expensive for us.

I hope you enjoyed the information provided. Until next time!

Good evening, everybody today I'm talking about two touristic places to visit here in Peru:

One of them is Cusco, the reason of its popularity is mainly Machu Picchu One of the seven wonders of the world which is located on the mountains, another touristic place is the main square of Cusco, this place is in front of a park, maybe you´re wondering: why can I do here? Well enjoying the experience, the sceneries that you can see while you’re wandering, participate in festivals and if you want and have the enough resources maybe buy some souvenirs, besides the activities you can do you have to take into consideration the prices, for example the hotel related with Machu Picchu is between 250 and 300 dollars. This place I think is one of the most expensive places in Peru due to the fact the is visited by tourists.

On the other hand, we have “Cañon de Colca” we can find it in Arequipa here the cost will depend on your nationality, but it’s around 100 soles more or less including the hotel, here if you are a tourist, you can get the information about this place if you are foreign maybe you find it more interesting than national people.

Blog about tourist places in Peru. One of the most visited tourist places in the world is Machu Picchu, being one of the most beautiful wonders of the world, it is visited by many people around the world. Machu Picchu is located in Cusco, one of the most beautiful departments in Peru, which is between Madre de Dios and Apurimac.

You have 2 options to get to Macchu Picchu, by train or by taking a walk, the first option is a direct path to the town of Aguas Calientes which is near Machu Picchu and the second option is a walk of approximately 4 days through the Camino. of the Inca. Personally, the second option is much more fun than the first since you can take many more photos with your smartphone and count your calories with your smartwatch.

The cost of the train to Machi Picchu is between 65 and 450 dollars.

The cost of accommodation varies greatly. It can cost from 72 soles to 7000 soles per night. You can find expensive and cheap places depending on your ability.

The food in Cusco is very delicious since in this place there is a great variety of ingredients.

On the other hand we have Paris. A very beautiful place and widely visited by tourists from all over the world. The main attraction of that place is the Eiffel Tower. To get there you have to take a plane, the cheapest it can cost is 409 dollars.

The cost to enter the tower ranges between 14 and 36 euros and it takes you around 3 hours to walk through the entire tower to the top.

Any time of day is good to visit the tower, although it would be better to go in the afternoon to be able to see the sunset from there.

But this is not the only place you can visit in Paris. The Arc de Triomphe is practically next to the Eiffel Tower. You can get there by taxi from the tower which costs between 11 and 14 euros.

In conclusion. Showing the attributes of each option, in my opinion visiting Macchu Picchu is much more exciting than visiting Paris since it has more physical activities to do and that for me is the most fun. But what is your opinion? What place would you choose?
