Our interactions depend immensely on language, and this depends on our physical and social actions. This theory emphasizes how important it is for students to have interactions with others when speaking. It also helps us realize how important group work can be, and how teamwork enhances learning in more ways than one. Some students started policing others when they slipped into English, even though the teacher never specifically told them they couldn't.
