And my queries and the fellow student council doubts were cleared out and understandable.

The meeting was full of information that was gathered to me like Health and safety precautions, student behavior and responsibilities we have for both online and face-to-face.

1.  I find people don't take me that seriously. I want to know how to be able to be taken seriously. Only the online students think that they can rely on my. The blended learners think that they don't need my help and couldn't care less for my help.


2.  I want people to stop respecting me just because of my badge. I want to know how to make people respect me outside my class when I don't wear my badge. Like just the other day, I was wearing my badge as I was walking towards the washroom. There was one student in front of me and he was clearly  ahead of me. He looked back and he saw my badge. (His eyes turned to the side of my shirt where the badge is) and opened the door for me. It was too awkward so I asked him to go in. He did. But that just reflects that some people may have different views on you because of the badge. I want to seem open whether I wear it or not. 

That is it for my two questions, I had more but I forgot them! This meeting was very fun and helped me a lot. Personally, I want to meet the student council team and the SSLT face to face. It would be nice to talk freely with them. Thank you again.

I’ve always had this idea. Since we are a generation with a spectrum of opinions and ideas. Maybe during recess if one wishes to they can sign up to talk about different topics like currents affairs, technology, psychology, science, innovation and so on. It could be like a TED Talk situation. The leader could start a Teams meeting and invite the speaker to come and talk. This is also beneficial against stage fight and stuttering. One person could be allocated to speak during each recess. Whilst others are eating they can join the meeting and listen to the talk. This could be called “WSD Voices” because I thinks it catchy and welcoming. We could reward the people who speak well and voice their thoughts in a pleasant manner with house points. This could also be great opportunity to be engaged during the recess whilst filling your tummy.
