A short description: The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was a conflict between the Soviet-Supported Afghanistan Government and a group of Afghan rebels called the Mujahideen. It was the aftermath of the Saur Revolution, which was an event where the Afghanistan communist party took control.

Why it was important: The United States funded the Mujahideen.

Both of the buildings came crashing down littering the city of rumble and a thick cloud of dust. The 3rd plane was crash landed by the citizens on the plane. They decided to crash land the plane after it had been hijacked. This 3rd plane was going to hit Washington D.
