Patrick Anderson is considered the greatest player in wheelchair basketball. He represented Canada in the Paralympics. He discovered wheelchair basketball in 1990. He worked his way up to the National Team in 1997. He lost his legs when he was 9 years old. He was at his friend's house, when his friend's parents came home, running Anderson over. Anderson said that wheelchairs are very liberating and an empowering piece of work. He said "The accident is only one bad thing, but so many good things came out of it."
