I feel privileged to work in a space where the main goal if to empower interns to be agents of change in society. I have been lucky to work with and mentor an amazing group of interns that are fully committed to social justice. I also want to give a shout out to all the faculty here. They are incredible humans, leaders in their field and compassionate people.
I also would like to thank those who came before us and had the vision to create a program like this in spite of the tremendous pushback. Their vision paved the way for many multicultural psychologists and social justice champions!

It was the first time I did not feel I had to fight to prove that what I was experiencing was REAL. Being part of CMTP was a true blessing that came at the right time in my journey. It has served as much more than a training experience. It has been a true healing space. At CMTP I did not have to quiet myself to fit a mold that required me to abandon my culture and my light just to survive. I could be my authentic self. What a gift!  I thank all of those who have made this space possible and continue to fight to preserve it for generations to come. Happy 50th Anniversary!!
