I was born in the U.K, grew up in india, and then immigrated to the U.S. The trishul (trident) shows three aspects of time: past, present, and future and serves as a reminder that no matter our past, our present is more powerful and doing the right thing in the present will lead to a better future. The bright light emanating in the back of the trident shows God is one (a point of light) that gives us the knowledge to do the right thing and we as souls can always connect to him at anytime.

My mom's family is from Portugal and my dad's family is all from Germany. I was born in the United States and more specifically Connecticut, which is why those two flags are included as well. Under the four flags I included pictures of Warwick, RI, Orange, CT, and Topsfield, MA because they are all important places in my life. I have spent every summer since I was born in Warwick with my aunts, uncles, and cousins from my mom's family. I have lived in Orange, CT my whole life and still currently live there. Finally, I included a ship of the Mayflower as my dad’s side of the family has ancestors that originally sailed from England to Plymouth.
