In cells, higher concentration outside the cell, resulting in a flow of water out of the cell.<br><br>Hypotonic - Between two solutions, the solution that has a lower concentration. In cells, lower concentration outside the cell, resulting in a flow of water into the cell.<br><br>Isotonic - In a comparison of two solutions, means that they are of equal concentration. In cells, mean that the concentration outside the cell is equal to the concentration outside the cell, so no movement occurs.</div>]]></description>
