 The Hanfu, Zhongshan suit (Mao suit), Tang suit, and cheongsam (qipao) are the four most distinctive types of traditional Chinese clothing . Its interesting because i did not know there is 4 traditional clothing.

However, the color yellow has been chosen as the exlusive color for the royal family since as early as Tang Dynasty, a thousand years before Qing emperors begin to rule. Before that, Qin Shi Huang the first emperor in Chinese history is wearing black, so are the Han emperors. I did not know the colour yellow is  exlusive for for the royal family since as early as Tang Dynasty, Qin Shi Huang the first emperor in china history is wearing black.

1.  There  were many legends that inspired Ancient Chinese clothing, accessories and make up. They painted flowers on their foreheads and had dragons on their clothes because of legends and their beliefs. 
2.  he clothes had their loose-fitting uncomplicatedly cut clothes because it would have been easy to produce. I think also because of their nature. There were many religions and beliefs that valued nature and because of that nature would have inspired many designs for clothing. 
3.  I think Ancient Chinese clothing was very primarily inspired and motivated by their beliefs, nature and the resources they had.
