Prototype is developed and perfected as per requirements until desired results are achieved.
In prototyping, model is flexible for changes. Error can be identified early, User can see progress of software development and identify changes.
Daniyal

Prototyping is an activity in the design phase of a development lifecycle. After the requirements of stakeholders have been acknowledged the prototype is way to present some functionalities of the project to be tested without getting too deep into details. The purpose of a prototype is to facilitate the communication between developers and stakeholders regarding the final product characteristics. For example: when a new application is to be made from scratch with no previous attempts, a prototype with basic functionalities will help both developers and stakeholders to form an idea about how the app would look like and discuss eventual pros and cons of actual requirements and how they are going to be fulfilled.

Prototyping is where, once an concept has been thought of, the main core parts of the idea are then implemented into reality through prototypes. This is useful as it can be used to test many things such as the idea, seeing whether it can actually be achieved or not, which is useful or else you would end up wasting more money only to realise it doesnt work at the end product. It can also be used to see how customers or clients would react to it this can then be used to see whether it is actually needed by people and also can be used to see how they would use it.

Prototyping is a concept which an organization uses in order to see what their design looks like and to see what direction they are heading to. This is known as a sample of a final version of a system or a product for example. Organisations will work around this one concept in order to then work on their actual final release.

Normally samples would be made and created for someone who demands a system. The organisation will list down the clients requirements in order to then come back then produce the sample and see if the client likes the sample in order to proceed with an actual system etc.

Prototyping is and idea or creation implemented in an example or model, their can be different types of prototypes like sketches or drawings can be paper prototypes or even physical model, which does not necessarily have to be working its just physical visualisation of a idea, it can be made from brick or even craft paper.

Feasibility prototypes are used to test ceratin functions or features that are added at a later stage in the design process, this can be used both in physical and digital models. 3d printing is great way of a proto type this allows organisations to see a real life prototype of physical idea and be able to see flaws in as soon as it built and this helps as you can move on from the design stage.
