         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nursing informatics is used to help manage and enhance the healthcare information and data utilized on a daily basis using computer technology to improve the nursing profession and patient care. It is used to track data trends, patient outcomes, assess interventions and workload, and improve workflows. Being a bedside nurse, I utilize infomatics by inputting assessments, admission and discharge information, accessing medical records and throughput, medication administration, as well as  track vital sign trends and labs.</div>]]></description>
