Australia has its own national cuisine. National dishes/foods Australia has are roast lambs, fish and chips, meat pies, lamingtons, vegemite, bunnings snags and more. Though it's kinda debatable because these "meals" aren't quite professional or formal as they are quite standard, sold cheaply and at cheap cafes at most. Whereas something Asian like stir fry or sushi is sold and served at higher class restaurants

In my opinion Australia does not have its own national cuisine because Australia is made up of many cultures and all of Australia's food have a least another country included in their food. Australia have a large variety of food but they don't have a proper meal they have more like side dishes for example lamington, Anzac cookies, etc.

No, Australia doesnt have its own national cuisine, however, it does have many other countries cuisines and many cuisines like chinese, italian, japanese and other european and asian countries. This has influenced australian people to create their own dishes by combining different spices and techniques. Even though australians have their own dishes and food it still isnt a national cuisine because we dont have a specific type of flavour or spice that often occurs in many of the dishes. for example, in Middle Eastern foods, flavours and spices like sour flavours coming from lemons or labneh (traditional lebanese yoghurt) or tangy flavours coming from garlic and onion. these reoccurring flavours give the middle eastern people their own cuisine.

Whilst there are many dishes that Australia is associated with such as vegemite, meat pies, barbecues, lamingtons and pavlova, Australia does not have a national dish. This is because Australian cuisine draws on food from countries that have migrated to Australia, and is affected by Australia's multiculturalism. Australia's natural cuisine is a culmination of other countries dishes, as well as being influenced by its Indigenous background. These fusion foods include sushi, pizza, which sometimes have an Australian twist.

Australia doesn't have a national dish because Australia is made up of people from other parts of the world, like England, Italy and Greece. Therefor Australia's national dish would be something that is from another part of the world. For example people think that a dish of Australia would be fish and chips, but actually fish and chips originated in England. But Australia does have its own dish because Australia has its own culture and cuisine.

Australia's cuisine is a 'melting pot' of cuisines. It incorporates elements of Indigenous, European and Asian cuisines, to create an all new idea. It then begs the question, does Australia have its own cuisine, or is it just a mix of other cuisine from other cultures? There answer is no. It does not have its own cuisine. It simply combines the cuisines and cultures of its inhabitants. Australian national dishes uses ingredients, recipes and cooking techniques of other cultures, therefore Australia does not its own cuisine. Although Australia has very original dishes and foods, however many of them aren't even proper meals, more like snack, such as lamingtons or Vegemite, and they still stem for other cuisines, so... do we have our own cuisine? No.

Australia does not have a national dish because Australia does not have one specific culture. Throughout history, Australia has always been influenced by cuisines all over the world. From Indigenous Australians and Early settlers to immigration of people from continents such as Europe and Asia have contributed to the idea of 'Australian cuisine.' While Australia has constructed dishes that are unique to Australia (such as dishes containing kangaroo and quandongs), the influence of other cultures is rooted within most of the dishes.

Australia is a cultural and traditional mixture. Its cuisine, in other words, is influenced by indigenous, European, and Asian flavours. For starters, meats like fish, emu, kangaroo, and wallaby are thanks to Australia's Indigenous culture, yet not many people know Indigenous cuisine. Australian cuisine doesn't have one cuisine as it is a combination of a lot of cultures and dishes. Australia only had little impact on some of these dishes which is reasons to why it would not have a national cuisine.

Australia, in my opinion, lacks a distinct national cuisine and dish. This is due to the fact that Australian cuisine incorporates Indigenous, European, and Asian flavours and cooking techniques. Australian meals are more diverse than ever, driven by aisles of low-cost goods, a smorgasbord of cultures, and a menu of revived food enthusiasm. This means that Australian cuisine is a synthesis of several influences. A mash-up of several inspirations from the past. In some ways, it is embracing its history — the good, bad, and ugly – in order to create something new. Although I feel there is no such thing as an Australian cuisine, there are numerous unique Australian snacks that hold a special place in the hearts of Aussies. Tim Tams, Fairy Bread, vegemite, and other similar items fall into this category. In some respects, not having its own cuisine is a beneficial thing because it provides for a diverse choices for both tourists and locals

NO! They do not. What comes to mind when you think of australian cuisine? Chicken snictzel? No, many people assume that the origins began in Germany or Austria, but it was Israel in the Middle East where the dish was believed to have been served first. Spagetti maybe as many australian mums might make that for dinner, NO, italian. Sasauge rolls? NO!, Wrapping meat in pastry dates back to the Ancient Greeks and Romans, but the modern sausage roll is thought to have originated in 19th Century France. Whatever you think if is part of australias cousine is from other cultures. Like when you think of italian, you know pizza pasta, gnoccie etc. When you think of greek you can think of souvlaki. If you think of middle eastern, you think of kafta, kibe neya, wara aneb etc. But australia cant relate

Australia's national cuisine is not made up of it's own cultural cuisine, instead being made up of foods from other cultures and countries from around the world due to its population being made up of various races and cultures, each bringing in their own part of Australia's cuisine. Rather than having its own nationally renowned foods and its cuisine, it is collective and fused with other cultures. Australia's cuisine can be described rather as a multicultural cuisine, due to its diversity in cultures (China, India, Greek, etc.) and food options available. In other countries, the main cuisine there consists of its own foods, rather in Australia there are only few foods that have been produced solely in Australia (lamingtons, meat pies, etc.) but however are NOT considered a national dish. It's multicultural aspect is unique however, providing a range of options to tourists and communities rather than a singular cuisine.
