The thing that touched me most about your talk was that you thought about what your son would want. You were selfless and kind. Thank you for telling you and your son's story.  I was so inspired about how organ donation can save lives.  I had already known that I wanted to be an organ donor but I never knew there was so many things you can donate.  It is amazing to know that you can make such a big difference in someones life.  I know how much you loved your son because you honored his wishes of becoming an organ donor

It must have been a very difficult decision to donate his organs after death, but it was the right one. He wanted it to happen while he was alive, and to honor that after his death is something I respect and appreciate. It inspires others (including me) to make these tough decisions to help others when the time comes, to not hesitate to do good and honor one's wishes.

Thank you so much for sharing Joe's and your story. The fact that Joe's organs had saved four lives really inspires me to become an organ donor as well. Also, because you explained how your transformation from not wanting Joe to become an organ donor allows me to realize how difficult, but inspirational of a choice you made (to honor your son).

I know that it can be difficult to talk about such emotional topics with others, but your courage truly speaks to the amazing person and father you are.
