The women brought clear examples, like The Civil Rights Movement and Title 9, to prove how this plan needed to be reviewed and changed to give women an equal chance.
However, the court struggled with making official laws for employers to follow when hiring because of laws already present for the Agency and employers in general.

In some cases, this money becomes very important for kids in families that struggle with money or have to build structure for funding and affording their near futures. If these girls are downgraded because of their gender and get lower pay, this makes them struggle to support the kind of education they have the right to get.

This issue also shows how women are portrayed in society and how actions like this can make the negative images grow. In terms of pay and the law(s), that plays a big part into this issue, as a whole women were not treated fair/were downgraded from men. Because of these jobs shutting women down, it creates barriers between men and women for payment and power.

Joyce's right-to-sue was a point that showed as a perfect example of the issues evident.

The women involved with this case (in particular Joyce) make an important point that time filled with cases like these can result in the roles women have changing to society - a clear example is Title 9.

The focus is on the community as a whole- the men and women who are divided in their workspaces and the women who are downgraded as a whole in society. The agency separated all women in their community and chose not to let them work under specific kinds of labor.
