I think I’ve found the right song for this poem. It is called ‘Gone’ by Bakermat. It is a very sad song about love so it fits in perfectly. In the poem the writer said:’Since there’s no help, come let us kiss and part’. In the song Bakermat said:’It's just a game’. I think Bakermat means to say that the whole lovestory is just a game. I think that's exactly what the writer meant to say with that line. Another line from the poem is:’Shake hands forever, cancel all our vows.’ Bakermat had a line that said the same:’But now I feel like everything’s drying’. I think they both mean that if you give it time and make a deal, you can get over a heartbreak. The last line I want to discuss is:’Now, if thou wouldst, when all have given him over, from death to life thou mightst him yet recover!’. Bakermat said in his song:’I’m not bad believe for all this can you hear’. With a bit of luck you can get back to the one you really love!

The Charge of the Light Bridgade, Assignment 2

The paper asked me to write a review about ‘The Charge of the Light Brigade’. It was written by Lord Tennyson. I needed to think a minute about the poem because I couldn’t imagine it because it is far from home. It is written on the battlefield because of the quote ‘All in the valley of Death.’ I like the poem. The quotes ‘Cannon to the left of them’ and ‘Stormed with shot and shell’ make me think that is a poem about the war and that's quite interesting. We also can learn from the poem. With the quote ‘Honour the charge they made’ the writer shows me that we have to have respect for the veterans. The writer has made a beautiful poem with imagery and morality. Normally when I read a poem, I get a clear vision about how it has to look in my head. Because of the imagery it takes me three times to get it and I like that

He is an only child and he likes to be with his friends for company. His parents are both rich and have little time for him and don't care about him very much. That's why he hangs out with his "bad friends" and skips school to play pool. They like it and meet a lot of other people. They often play and also participate in tournaments. This means that they often skip school. They are about to leave when Mrs. Brooks steps into the opening. She moves aside for the boys but our friend looks back one more time. When he sees Mrs. Brooks, he thinks of his parents who wouldn't be proud of him at all. He gets a moment of realization but goes back to his friends anyway. Mrs. Brooks is happy because she saw in the boy's eyes that he was thinking. The boy thinks about it for the rest of the day and talks to his parents. This changes everything in his life!
