This song relates to transcendentalism because it talks about how nature relates to our lives. How the sun brings us joy and how winter makes you lonely. That’s the idea of  transcendentalism, being able to connect nature within our lives.

This Poem goes into the deeper meaning. A child asks him what is grass, he doesn’t not know.
