“The Philippines cannot deny the terminally-ill’s legal access to medical marijuana because Filipinos are compassionate and humane.” - This line is a fallacy because it both assumes that at least a majority of us Filipinos are “compassionate and humane”, and that this is a sound reason for us to support the legalization of medical marijuana.

She could avoid other possible fallacies like the possible one in the statement: “This is the way to alleviate the pain and suffering of children and adults who are wasting away due to cancer, chemotherapy, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, and epileptic seizures.” - which borders on fallacious because it implies that the legalization of medical marijuana would be the way, the only way, to relieve the sick, disregarding other options or choices to aid it in its cause. It also implies that it will relieve the pain of the sick, not taking any shortcomings into consideration, so she could be wary of such possible fallacies in her speech. 💞

Firstly, for the patients whose life has now become a nuisance because of their illness, alleviating their burden by utilizing euthanasia is ethical because it is done out of mercy and humanity.

Thirdly, one of the main reasons why a lot of people oppose the idea of euthanasia is because, without regulations and restrictions, it has a high risk for errors which may then jeopardize the people involved in the act--the physicians and the patients.
