We produce various types of agricultural products, including fruits, grains, vegetables, and dairy products. Although the peninsula mostly consists of mountains and hills – more than 70 %-, Koreans developed various ways to grow crops and vegetables. The most important agricultural product in Korea is rice, as it takes up 90 percent of total crop production and 40 percent of farm income. Rice is mostly cultivated in the southern part of the peninsula with plains and warmer weather. Since Korea has a small range of territory, the rice production scale is not that big compared to other countries. Also, economic development and urbanization in the last 40 years have led to a decrease in the agricultural industry.

Approximately half of Cambodia population are farmers and a majority of the GDP comes from Agriculture industry. However, traditional farming with outdated equipments and irrigation system are still applied by farmers. The primary crop is always rice which is the most important food supply for the people, following by sugarcane, cashew nut, rubber and cassava. Unlike the developed countries, family farms with small scale farming are more likely to be seen than industrial farming. Family farms produce a limited amount of crops and are highly vulnerable to flood and drought. Due to the lack of education, information and technology, chemical fertilizer and pesticide are overly used by the farmers which might cause health problems and environmental problems.

Myanmar is a land filled with different terrains and perfect growing conditions needed for the crops to grow. Myanmar to this day, still uses traditional cultivation and water irrigation in places like Ayeyarwady. Even though we have enough resources and land to cultivate, Myanmar is still a developing country in which farmers get less amount of money for their work.
