These men use them to show off there masculinity, because whats more manlier then being surrounded by beautiful ladies. If these two guys did not have the girls in there video they would probably be thought of as gay. For example, Ricky Martin and Maluma made a song together and afterwards the word was that they were dating. The rumor started being supposedly they saw the both of them together hugging and doing other stuff and since Ricky Martin is gay and since  Maluma has not had a girlfriend or been seen with one they assumed that he was probably gay to. In today's world there is plenty of gays and they are being more open to who they prefer. In video 1 they had girls half naked and being all over the guys but in this video the guys are the ones that are almost naked. Both Men and Women can do it, they can have the opposite sex be half naked in there videos to show there masculinity and femininity. Lady Gaga does a god job at showing people that she does not need to do what others are doing to show what she needs to be a girl. In fact because of some of her videos some people were so convinced that Lady Gaga was actually a man, but she is not a man she is a women. Depending on the song it can depend on the way the video will be about. The majority of this songs I listen to are about love, so with that being said the videos are either having a girl dressed in a tight dress walking around or pf just the guy singing and dancing. The music I listen to make me feel a bit masculine because I dance to it with girls and I dance to it pretty good, I also sing to it and can bond to other Mexican men because of it. It also helps me with just relaxing and forgetting about the real world and just singing how I feel or how I wish I could feel. Sometimes it is a bit tough being masculine because Im gay and I have my feminine times. As a gay person I feel like every other gay all listen to the same music as in Lana Del Rey and Beyonce and stuff like that. The guy is surrounded by beautiful ladies of different color. the ladies make him look more masculine because they're half naked. If the guy was surround by guys that were wearing the same about of clothes as him then he would be considered gay. Guys now a days try so hard to have a certain look because they want to be looked at a certain way.
