The Miller is Broad, knotty and short shouldered and wore a hood of blue and white coat. The Miller's job is to turn the grain into flour. He's a cheat as he steals grain from the storehouse. He is strong man who fabricates things often. The Miller is a commoner with a bad temper who is loud and obnoxious. To others he is seen as intimidating. In the story "The Canterbury Tales, the author states in the prologue "Something to equal the knights tale, the Miller who for drunkenness was pale. He is one of the most hated among the commoners and really cares for no one but himself."
