         <description><![CDATA[<div>Making pamphlets available around campus is a priority. These fliers will have a very recognizable color in the first page and a series of questions in the back. If students answer "yes" to themselves to more than 3 questions then they can be perfect candidates for attending this group. These pamphlets will also be available in the nurses office as well as P.E. classes. </div>]]></description>

The importance of having students open up is based on the confidentiality they have personally experienced with counselors and their past experiences. Talking to the teachers about students who will attend and letting them know when to send them to the counselor’s office if a student seems interested in the pamphlets. After several students have personally visited the counselor's office, the group will began to meet regularly. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This specific group will concentrate in 3rd grade children who are in search of building a higher self-esteem, trust, and better relationship among their peers. <br>Stage 1: Will consist of strictly building a space of confidentiality among the students and the counselor. A safe space will be built where one can trust their peers and counselor in order to be able to establish and work on their self-esteem.<br>Stage 2 : Games and activities will include finding something positive to say about another person and making that person smile and become friends<strong>. </strong>In other words, being kind to one another to form life-long relationships. <br>Stage 3: Will help develop life-long relationships and friendships. Forming friendships and knowing about one another is key to help others build a positive self-esteem. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Many of Yalom's Therapeutic factors were presented throughout this counseling group. Universality is clearly the one presented in every session. It is important for students to feel that they are not alone. In every session students will feel the support of their peers and therefore they will no longer feel alone.  Direct Advise is something that will be put in practice and will have a positive impact on students especially in learning how to receive comments and make comments about one another. Throughout each session there will be positive feedback and advancement towards building their capacity of building personal relationships and building a positive self esteem. </div>]]></description>
