We went to ballyhass lake with a bus at 8:15. We waited for a bit and then we geared up for the high ropes which is a climbing course. After we went to the water park but i didnt swim cuz luv of the game i dont wanna drown. After that we used bows to play somee sort of capture the flag. After all of that we ate pizza and snacks at a shop that sells food and merch.

It was an okay trip i would have rathered airtastic but what can ya do in situations like that. My favourite part of the trip was probably when we where shooting arrows at each other because I am just too good with a bow.🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱

on the 11th of December Tys went to the marina market to sell things we have made. My group consisted of Jamie, Ryan, Oliwier, Faheem, and It. We sold mystery gifts and sold everything but one present that will remain a secret. The TY's had a bake sale to make some money for the TY ball. they sold a whole lot of garbage at the bake sale. it was store bought cookies and cupcakes that were not worth the money. Basketball Match

The U19 girls had a basketball match and honestly lost horrifically. The score was 55 - 27 to the other team. A girl on the other team scored all the points. At the end of the day you win some you lose some.

the TY's had work experience for a week last week it was good. I worked at Boston Scientific. They make medical equipment so less surgery is needed during the procedure. It was a TY program so other schools were their with me. I knew some of the people there so it was good. It was a bunch of lectures but it was interesting.

During the work experience we learned how to measure super tiny threads and how to thread a metal rod through it we weren't allowed to touch it though as we legally couldn't. Also each small part was about 50 euro. We also learned how to distribute the right pieces with each other.

Manchester

day 1

We got to cork airport at 9.am and the we got on the plane and went to Manchester at 12.pm on Monday. once we landed we took a bus to the city and went to the shopping centre. We ate food there and some people bought stuff there but i saved for the main event. After we were done there we went over to meet our tour guide to give us a tour of the city. It was a little boring but i got my steps in. After that we went to the Hotel. the hotel was nice and it had a pool table which is where we spent most of our time. We went to sleep at 10.30 and got ready for the next day

day 2

We woke up at like 7.30am and ate breakfast. After breakfast we went to Alton Towers and went on the the rides there it was a pretty eventful day after that we went back to the hotel and played some pool and ate dinner then went to bed at 10.30pm and got ready for the next day

day 3

We woke at 7.30 and ate breakfast and then got on the bus for Old Trafford we had a tour of the place which was better than expected and after we were hungry and bought some McDonalds which was not good and after we went to the science museum which I'm assuming was meant for kids since everything was for kids. after we went to the Trafford Centre which was huge i bought stuff for the family and myself and got lost like three times but overall it was nice.

Last week I went to MTU for an engineering program. They talked to us about all the different types of engineering. They talked to us about civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering. biomedical engineering, and software engineering. It was a three day program with lots of other schools there. The facilities are very nice.
