The exact topic is up to your group to decide (person, event, ???).

Do a few quick google searches to find some sources about your topic.

Create a "found" sonnet. Found poetry uses words found in other sources.

Your sources are the two poems we read today and any text you find about your topic/ subject.

Add your own words and change word forms as necessary for sense.

Refer to the characteristics of sonnets and choose one type. 

The only sonnet characteristic you can ignore (if you wish) is rhyme scheme.

You and your group will need to defend and explain your choices.

When your poem is finished, erase the word clouds and these directions.

Export your poem as a pdf and email it to me.
