I think that leaders should make changes. According to the text "Last year and this year were really hard for me to stay [driven to] continue training," Prince said. "I go into the race knowing that [double amputees] run faster times…. I know I'll get beat." This means that the single amputees are concerned that they will be beat so now the single amputees will stop attempting to do the activities in the Paralympics. The text states "Some fear that their use is unfair to athletes from less wealthy countries. The equipment can be very expensive. This shows that some of the people that have to have prostetic arms or legs can not get it because they may not have enough money. And that is unfair to people that have disabilities want to to the Paralympics. To sum things up I think that leaders should make changes to the rules of the Paralympics

The reason why some people say the equipment rules for the Paralympic Games are not fair is because people with double amputee are winning and people single amputees losing. In "What's Fair in Sports?" it says "Still, Prince thinks that more needs to be done to keep competitions fair. He has discussed his concerns with Paralympic leaders. For Prince, the main question is whether double amputees and single amputees should compete against each other at all." This quote shows how David Prince, a runner, thinks that the equipment rules for the Paralympic Games are not fair. To sum things up, people always have different points of view.

I think leaders should make changes, because it is unfair to single amputees because double amputees are faster. In "What's Fair in Sports?" it says "Take prosthetic running blades, for example. In the Paralympics, single amputees often race against double amputees. But technology for prosthetics has improved. Now, double amputees have an advantage over single amputees, said U.S. sprinter David Prince." This quote shows how double amputees are better than single amputees. To sum things up, the leaders of the Paralympic Games should really change the equipment rules for the Paralympic Games.

Some equipment for the Paralympic Games are unfair and I think that the rules should change to make this fair. For example, Athletes form less wealthy countries may not be able to afford the athletic equipment. This proves that is they can't afford it they won't get good equipment and than they will never win because other people has equipment the willa easly get past them. As you can see I think that the rules should be changed to make the game better like other people do to.

Some people say that the equipment rules are not fair because they noticed that the competitors are getting better and that is because if the electronics and equipment they use. This proves that people are starting to realize that people are becoming better because of the equipment they use. This explains that we know why people think like this The leader should not make any changes because the equipment is helping the people who are paralyzed a lot .Evidence to support this is" equipment has improved a lot of people" .This explains that People who used it are doing better and better.

The Paralympics should make changes because the technology use it is unfair . According to the text, " Competitions need to be fair, he says.He doesn't think double amputees should race against single amputees." this shows, that not just the media thinks it is unfair but one of the Paralympic does and it is unfair that the double amputees get a better atvanige. The text states, "Craig Spence is a spokesperson for the Paralympics. He said that athletes at the 2016 Paralympic Games showed a higher level of athletic performance." this exemplifies, how the technology has improved the amputees, the wheel chairs and many more and that is not fair how technology has two get better so it is unfair. To sum things up their should be changes in the paralympics.

Many people think that the equipment rules for the Paralymic games are not fair. From the text” What’s Fair in Sports” states that one person thinks that according to the text, “Some say that those using technology have an advantage.” This quote exemplifies that some people do not agree with the way that the Paralympic people are using the equipment. They think that if one person gets a wheelchair and the other person has the same symptom as the person in the wheelchair they should also get the wheelchair. Therefore, they think that THIS would be fair. The quote also explains that, people with two prosthetics can run faster than the person with only one. (Has more advantage than the person with only one.) Therefore, the rules have improved over the years and the training has improved too! The quote also shows that some people in the paralympics get to win more often than other people in the Paralympics. This shows that, the rules are not fair. Because some people are getting an advantage. To sum things up, it is not fair for some people to get a lot of equipment and others none, even if they need it!!!
I think leaders of the Paralympic Olympic team should change their rules. One reason is because, it would not be fair if someone had two prosthetics and one running blade, & then another person had none or only one. According to text, “What’s Fair in Sports?” states that “Some said that runners with two prosthetics had an advantage. They could run faster than athletes with only one.” This quote shows that athletes with two prosthetics have more of a chance to beat the person with one or none. This is NOT fair advantage!!! The quote also shows that the rules of Paralympics team is fair for the people with enough technology (equipment) but it is unfair for the people who still are in the Paralympic team who truly really NEED the technology but do not have it. The quote also shows that someone has TO DO something about this!!! To sum things up, I think that the Paralympic team SHOULD really change their rules to make it FAIR for the WHOLE ENTIRE TEAM!!!

People people can't help the different equipment that they need in the Paralympics so the rules should not be changed. Some people think this isn't fair because people have different equipment. First of all, the article states,"There's a range of athletic equipment on the market for people with disabilities." This proves that there are different types of of equipment so not everyone will have the same exact equipment. No one's will be the same, and may have all different abilities. Lastly, the article states, "Prince, who lost his right leg in a motorcycle accident, finds the developments in technology to be somewhat concerning."This proves that the man can't control whether he gets hurt, so he may need a different and stronger piece of equipment than someone else. All in all, people can't help the different equipment that they need in the Paralympics so the rules should not be changed.
