I am King James I and I am the first Puritan King who took over after the Great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first King of England to translate the Bible into English calling it the King James Bible. I was honored as the namesake for the new English settlement in our newly acquired land of America. We named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I am King Charles I and i tried to dissolve the government body without their permission due to my feud with the Parliament. This feud resulted in the English Civil War in 1642. Me and my men (the Royalists) were defeated and I was executed for treason.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

My name is Oliver Cromwell and i was a Puritan Army General and because of my great success in the Civil War, I was crowned as the Lord protector. I abolished the monarchy and established the Commonwealth while being known for my part in the execution of James I. I was very strict on social control and had a vision of a puritanical society.

Charles II (1658-1685)

I am Charles II and I was exiled to France by Oliver Cromwell because of the threat he posed to the throne. After Oliver Cromwell died I returned to England and restored the monarchy in the time known as the restoration. I revived popular past-times that Oliver Cromwell got rid of, such as singing, dancing, live music, performances, etc...

James II (1685-1688)

I am James II and I am the Roman Catholic brother of King Charles II who had 12 illegitimate children, making me the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland and Scotland. Because of all of the challenges I faced with religion and others, the Glorious Revolution of England began. I solidified the Constitutional monarchy but later was overthrown peacefully.

William & Mary (1688-1702)

My name is Queen Mary and i am the daughter of King James. I married my 1st cousin William of Orange, who was a protestant dutch prince. Me and Williams reign is known for passing the English Bill of Rights in 1689 which officially ended the monarchy.
