I’m trying to make a deer, I really can’t figure out how to make the eyes look ok, probably because it’s such a small deer because I wanted to add other things as well so I need to figure that part out but for the most park i’d say it resembles a deer

I made antlers to add to the deer but they weren't going to stand up so I decided I'm going to make the antlers out of wire instead.

Editors note: I did not add these to the deer because they would've been very flimsy and probably would have broken if I was even able to get them to stay in the first place, I'm going to fire this and then add wire antlers instead.

I carved out the shape I wanted for the river and started adding little rocks because I liked the detail it added instead of just being an empty river.

I have a deer a duck and a dove. I have rocks in my river and I textured the ground so it kind of looks like grass, or moss and I like that a lot. I want to add something in between the deer and the dove kind of towards the outside of the wall relief. I might add a boulder or something because I think it will turn out looking cool.

For my project I made a landscape with wildlife and a river. I feel like this represents me because mother nature has alway been a very big part of my life and when I'm older I want to go into a line of work that allows me to be around the living world. Nature has always been a strong force in my eyes, shaping my perspective and views from a young age. I used to go out and explore little creeks and woods, every experience taught me something new, like what wildlife lived around me or how absolutely beautiful the sights were. Now that I've grown up a little bit I still really enjoy exploring or disappearing into the trees for a little bit. Animals and nature are very important to me and they helped shaped who am I am today, what I value, and how I see life.

This is the beginning of my project this probably took me 2-3 days. I decided I was going to make a vase, however after further consideration I'm going to make a teapot, a very abstract interesting teapot.

After a few days it was hard enough to stand up on it's own. At the beginning because the clay was really soft and wet there are some places on the teapot that caved in a little and wouldn't stand straight, especially on the inside rail. I think it looks cool though almost like it's crumbling, I think it adds character to the teapot instead of it being picture perfect it's a little wonky.

This is the spout for the teapot, I didn't want it to be straight because the teapot itself is really curvy and wonky so I made the spout curvy and wonky. I'm going to attach it so it's seamless and looks like just another part of the pot.

This is the spout on the pot like it’s popping out of the top, I don’t really want it to look anything like a teapot just a weird abstract thing on my kitchen counter so I like the way that the spout went on.

I cut the top of the teapot to make a lid, I made it curvy so it wouldn’t fall off if you’re trying to pour the liquid out, I also made it curvy so it wouldn’t fall through or anything it just sits perfectly on top.

I shaped it out a little better and added height to top of the hand, I also don't have a wrist I cut it off, i guess you could call it a creative choice, I didn't want it, I think it's funny. I started my nails, I think they look great, however there is a dent in my hand in between my pointer and my thumb, not hype, I will fix it.

Ok so I have some bad news. I cut my hand in half last Tuesday and i hollowed it out in probably like 7 minutes and then you came over and used my hand as a demonstration and started putting it back together and then I finished putting it back together and that all got finished in one day and I completely forgot to take a picture. I don’t have a single picture of the process of cutting it in half hollowing it out or putting back together. On the bright side, you used my hand as a demo for the class so maybe we can just think back to last tuesday and try to visualize what it looked like!

I’m not gonna like I completely forgot to take pictures so the next one is a time skip. Take time to imagine me adding a lot of layers of wheat pasted news paper and then taking it home and adding a few layers of paper towels. Now add spikes to the top and then bring it back to school and spackle it.
