Which IQ value do you look forward t sharing with young learners in a ECE centre? Which do you think is important for young learners to understand? Why?

I choose respecting others, relationships and caring for others because the young children needs to learn to respect our elders and need to have more relationship with our elders and more caring for the elders and the young children needs to learn what our elders did when they were young children and it is important that the young children learn more Inuinnaqtun language and culture. Why i choose this because i can see that most young children need to learn more Inuinnaqtun languages and dances because we are starting to loose the culture slowly, and we need to bring it back so we can pass on to Morse the young children.

And the young children needs more caring for elders and others.

Michelle

This has been taught through generations and is still on-going. One thing to have in life is to always teach manners at a young age, right from wrong. It’s very important to have Inuuqatiitsiarniq because where would we all be if it wasn’t taught?

Collette

Why?

I picked Inuuqatigiitsiarniq to share with young learners in an ECE Centre. I think it is important for young learners to understand because, you need to have respect for others around you and in your workplace. You need to build relationships with the parents or caregivers, so they have trust in leaving their child/ren in our care while they are at work.

Colleen
