Hi everyone let me introduce myself my name is Adam Bilal Bastha and today i Will tell u story' about Bandung city

So here the story'
The official name of the city during the colonial Dutch East Indies period was Bandoeng. The earliest reference to the area dates back to 1488, although archaeological findings suggest a type of Homo erectus species had long previously lived on the banks of the Cikapundung River and around the old lake of Bandung. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the Dutch East Indies Company (VOC) established plantations in the Bandung area. In 1786, a supply road connecting Batavia (now Jakarta), Bogor, Cianjur, Bandung, Sumedang and Cirebon was constructed. In 1809, Napoleon Bonaparte, French Emperor and conqueror of much of Europe including the Netherlands and its colonies, ordered the Dutch Indies Governor H.W. Daendels to improve the defensive systems of Java to protect against the British in India. Daendels built a road, stretching approximately 1,000 km (620 mi) from the west to the east coast of Java, passing through Bandung.
In 1810, the road was laid down in Bandung and was named De Groote Postweg (or the 'Great Post Road'), the present-day location of Jalan Asia-Afrika. Under Daendels' orders, R. A. Wiranatakusumah II, the Chief Administrator of the Bandung regency at that time, moved the office from Krapyak, in the south, to a place near a pair of holy city wells (sumur Bandung), the present-day site of the city square (alun-alun). He built his dalem (palace), masjid agung (the grand mosque) and pendopo (public-official meeting place) in the classical Sundanese orientation, with the pendopo facing Tangkuban Perahu mountain, which was believed to have a mystical ambience. In 1856, Bandung also became the capital of Preanger Regencies Residency, which it would remain until 1925.

And besides that, I will tell you about a tourist area called Tangkuban Perahu

Mount Tangkuban Parahu is one of the mountains located in West Java Province, Indonesia. About 20 km to the north of Bandung City, with lush pine trees and a stretch of tea gardens around it and the surrounding expanse of tea gardens, Mount Tangkuban Parahu has a height of 2,084 meters.

Good morning everyone, my name is Keisha and today i'm going to tell you about Kawah Putih or in english White Crater. But before we going to the matery, i want to explain the general of Bandung.

So, Bandung is the capital city of West Java and is included as the fourth most populous city after DKI Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan. Bandung is also have a local language called 'Sundanesse language'. For example: Wilujeng Enjing means good morning and Kumaha damang? means How are you?. If we come to Bandung, we can hear everyone used sundanesse everywhere because people in Bandung tend to use sundanesse as an everyday language.
The weather in Bandung was not as hot as in Jakarta, usually cool or cold. That is because Bandung is surrounded by mountain.

Especially in an area of north and south Bandung we can see a lot of nature places in there. So now because kawah putih is one of the famous places in south Bandung, we're going to dig in about Kawah Putih. Kawah Putih is a place located in south of Bandung, specificly in Ciwidey. Approximately takes 2 hours to get there by a car from Bandung City. Kawah Putih is a lake that formed from the eruption of Mount Patuha. What's interesting about this place is the color of the water was tosca and sometimes it can change with weather conditions and the land color is white because of element sulfur.

Long short story of Kawah Putih history is, in the 10th century after the eruption of Mount Patuha, there was no life. Even the birds won't flew above the mountain. And then a botanist from Germany came to do a research. He climb until the top of the mountain and suddenly he was surprised with the thing in front of his eyes. There he found a beautiful lake that now called as Kawah Putih.

Since then, this area has become famous and in 1987 the government developed this place as a tourist destination.
Good tips before going to Kawah Putih is to wear a warm jacket and wear a mask if you can't stand the strong scent of the sulfur.

That is from me about Kawah Putih.
The building of indonesia menggugat

Hi everyone my name is kyla valendiva today i will be your guide, . Today I will share information about historic buildings in Bandung and Indonesia, namely the building of Indonesian menggugat. The building of indonesia menggugat is located at Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan No. 5, Bandung City, not far from Bandung City Hall. This building has a fairly large courtyard with a sturdy shady banyan tree. This building is one of the well-maintained historical buildings Initially, the building of indonesia menggugat was a residence for Dutch citizens, which was built in 1907. In 1917, the building was converted into Landraad or the Dutch Colonial Government Court. In 1930, Landraad was used to try freedom fighters. Some of the fighters, namely Soekarno, Maskoen, Gatot Mangkoepradja, Soepridinata, Sastromolejono, and Sartono At the time Soekarno was tried, Soekarno rebelled in court and made a defense under the title of indonesia menggugat . This incident shocked the Dutch so much that Soekarno's defense finally became the name for the building until now. Several times the building has changed functions. After independence until the 1950s, the building changed its function to the Indonesian Red Cross Office (PMI). After that, from the 1950s to 1973, the building became the Finance Building. From 1973 to 1999, the building was used as the West Java Office of Trade and Industry. In 2005, after undergoing physical changes, the building was renamed the building of Indonesia menggugat by the former Governor of West Java, HC Mashudi.[1] In June 2007, the building of Indonesia menguggat (GIM), was officially opened to the public and became a class A cultural heritage building that must be cared for and maintained. Now, the building is used as a gathering space for artists, journalists, and teachers. Some of the activities carried out there include poetry appreciation, art activities, seminars, and discussions.[1] Even though it has become a public space, the management tries to present the GIM function in the past by making decorations like the courtroom in the Landraad era. In the room there is a table for the judges, there is a fence between the visitor area and the defendant. The cell where Soekarno was detained has now been used as the GIM management office. There, photos of Soekarno and his comrades from the Indonesian National Party who were also on trial were also neatly displayed.

As a result, the area between Padalarang and Cicalengka (± 30 kilometers) and the area between Mount Tangkuban Parahu to Soreang (± 50 kilometers) was flooded and became a large lake which became known as "Bandung Lake" or "Bandung Purba Lake".

According to research, Lake Bandung has gradually receded. In the former lake area, the Bandung regency government stood. So, historically the origin of the name Bandung comes from Lake Bandung.

Another opinion says that the word Bandung comes from the name of a water vehicle used by the Regent of Bandung, R.A. Wiranatakusumah II. The vehicle consists of two boats tied side by side called the Bandung boat. At that time, R.A. Wiranatakusumah II navigated Citarum in search of a new district seat to replace the old capital at Dayeuhkolot.

Hi everyone
My name is Maria. I'm from partel tour & travel and I'm will your tour guide in Bandung. How are you today? Do you feeling good today? Welcome to Indonesia and welcome to Bandung

Bandung is the capital city of West Java, and the third largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. Nicknamed Parijs van Java (Paris of Java) by the Dutch for its resemblance to Paris and European atmosphere back in colonial times, Bandung also earned another nickname as Kota Kembang, literally meaning the Flower City since Bandung used to have a lot of flowers and flowers which means beautiful Bandung girl. Bandung has a tropical monsoon climate, which borders subtropical highland climate. The city is noticably cooler than other cities Indonesia, due to altitude influence. Today we will visit Mount Tangkuban Parahu. A mountain which is famous for the shape of the upside down boat and also the legend of Sangkuriang. In this morning we will going from Bandung to Tangkuban Perahu. About 20 km to the north of Bandung City, with lush pine trees and expanse of gardens In the surrounding area, Mount Tangkuban Parahu has a height of 2,084 meters. The average daily temperature is 17C during the day and 2 °C at night. We arrived at the ticket sales counter, the ticket price is 20 thousand rupiah weekdays and 30 thousand rupiah weekend for local tourists. Transportation get charged 2x motorbikes for 10 thousand, cars for 15 thousand, buses for 20 thousand and also bicycles for 7 thousand. Even though the transportation just sits still, why do you have to pay 2 times anyway? From the parking we have to use another transportation to the crater because it is still quite far, uphill and also winding. And now We arrive at the bus parking , the bus can only get here because the road to the top is uphill, narrow and winding. We will go to the top using public transportation, namely Ontang Anting and each person is charged 7 thousand rupiah round trip. Cheap warungs are lined up here whose prices don't hurt your wallet. Starting from coffee, fried foods, instant noodles, to rice are here. Many spot for tourists who like to take photos. And on our left side there is a PhotoShoot garden, it's pretty good but just not modern enough. Here there are no paid photo objects, so you can take as many pictures as you want. There are also places to relax park banches and tables so visitors don't worry. For those who like outbound, there are also some fairly complete and free rides, these rides can be used by children and teenagers. After entering the area, you can start to smell the stench that tickles the nose hairs For visitors who come, don't accuse each other of farting because the crater smells like that,Remember! we're here for a vacation, not looking for fight right? As you know Tangkuban Perahu is famous for the legend of Sangkuriang. We'll tell you a little bit. Long ago, Sangkuriang wants to marry Dayang Sumbi but Dayang Sumbi gave a condition build a boat and a lake in one night its impossible request, right? Because basically Dayang Sumbi didn't want to marry Sangkuriang because she knew Sangkuriang was her own child. Sangkuriang was not able to do his job, with his magic he kicked the boat he made and it turned upside down and turned into this mountain. The lesson from this story is that we should not be deceived by anger until it gets out of control and learn to hold back emotions. However, according to research, Mount Tangkuban Parahu was formed around 210,000 to 105,000 years ago. Throughout its history, the activities that occurred on Mount Tangkuban Parahu have formed 13 craters. Three of them are popular as tourist destinations, namely Ratu Crater, Upas Crater, and Domas Crater. Mount Tangkuban Parahu had erupted several times. The person who had recorded the first eruption was Franz Wilhelm Junghuhn. Based on records made by Junghuhn in 1853, the first record of the eruption of Mount Tangkuban Parahu was in 1829 with the eruption of ash and rock from Kawah Ratu and Domas. The period of rest between eruptions of Mount Tangkuban Parahu lasts between 30 - 70 years. This mountain was last erupted in 2004 with increased seismicity. Next we go to the souvenir shop area, here there are lots of kinds of souvenirs with prices that are still standard and can be cheaper if you are good at negotiating. Here you can also go around using a horse per person at a cost of 50 thousand rupiah. One of the public facilities available at this location is a large mosque and clean public toilets.

Thank you for your attention, See you next time.
