But too much of this can cause cancer. Also visible light is another from of electromagnetic waves. X-rays are a form of visible light waves. Before there were X-rays doctors had to sometimes cut into a patient to see what was wrong but after the X-ray was made doctors were able to see the bones. But they didn't know at the time that too much of x-rays radiation could cause health problems latter on.

Different types of electromagnetic waves are Radio Waves, X-Rays, Visible Light, Microwaves, and Gamma. These are all different types of electromagnetic waves.
X-Rays- Is an object that was accidentally discovered by a man in German. He thought no one would believe him so he took a photo of his wife's hand.
Visible Light Waves- Are waves that someone (a human) could see with their naked eye. Most times you can't see light waves. But you can see Visible Light Waves.
Microwaves- Microwave waves are waves that you can't really see but is really there. When you warm up food in the microwave, the microwave waves heats the food up.
Gamma- There are different Gamma Waves, there is also Gamma Waves in your brain. This wave is the fastest wave in your brain. This waves is the wave that gives you your feelings.

The different types of electromagentic waves are radio waves, microwaves, gramma rays, and x-rays. All of these are electromagnetic waves that give off some type of radiation. X-ray's give off radiation but if it is too much radiation on your body, you can get cancer. Microwaves give off radiation which is transmitted at different wavelengths and frequencies. Also light waves give off radiation as well.

The microwaves are the second lowest frequency waves in the em spectrum, the gamma rays are the shortest waves they are the oposite of radio waves, the visable light covers the wavelength that people can see with their eyes, x-rays are when people can see threw thing like doctors when they are taking a x-ray of your body to see your skeleton, and radio waves are the waves that have the longest wavelength
