The Ave Maria Catholic Church is a key landmark in the town which was dedicated in March 2008 by Bishop Dewane. One of the church's most distinctive characteristics is its steel structure. The design was modeled heavily after Frank Lloyd Wright. The Church was intended to be a beacon (focal point) for the town with everything surrounding it such as; University, Mother Teresa Museum, Veterans Memorial, etc. The exterior displays a 30 foot tall sculpture of the Annunciation depicting the Archangel Gabriel's announcement to the Blessed Virgin Mary, carved in marble from the cave Michelangelo in Italy.

The Mother Teresa Museum is located within walking distance of the Ave Maria Catholic Church. It is a 3,000 sq. foot space displaying pieces from her life shown in over 30 panels in both English and Spanish. Items for viewing include handwritten letters by Mother Teresa, photographs, a crucifix from her own rosary and a re-creation of the room where she slept and worked.

Ave Maria Town Center was developed in 2007 and quickly become a crucial part of the town. This Center has grown to be an extraordinary shopping center with the best restaurants and local businesses. The Center is greatly known for being an amazing gathering place and for having incredible architecture. It's still revelant today as a centerpiece to Ave Maria. It's a lovely place surrounded by a beautiful community.
