         <description><![CDATA[<div>So far in this unit, we have covered the novel "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe which is a novel about a character from Nigeria named Okonkwo, set during the late 1800’s. In this unit, the texts we’ve read included not only this novel by Chinua Achebe, but, we have also read “The White Man’s Burden” by Rudyard Kipling, “The Gentlemen of The Jungle” by Jomo Kenyata, and lastly, a TedTalk transcript named “We should all be feminists” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The themes that we learnt in this unit includes, The Role of Women, Cultures, Colonization, and Change.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that skills that we have covered during this unit were our observation and analysis skills that we used on the text’s that we have read. The tasks that we have completed included many quizizz games that would help review our knowledge on the book. Additionally, we also often paired up and completed a microlab or text analysis in PEE form in preparation to our Socratic Seminar.  </div>]]></description>
