His research an studies provided evidence supporting the theory of a supercontinent that began to break apart around 200 million years ago, this is what formed he seven continents we know of today. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Coastline Matching</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Scientists have found something very strange between all of the seven continents. The coast lines of the continents match up. The best example of this is South America and Africa. Whenever you tilt one of these continents, their continental shelf lines of almost exactly. Scientists have discovered that thee is a way to do this with all seven of the continents, which supports the theory of a large continental drift. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Scientists have studied earths magnetic field and have begun connecting it to plate tectonics and the continental drift. When iron melted and then cooled back when Pangaea was believed to exist, it was said to have cooled with a slight magnetism facing the earths magnetic field. When the magnetism of these rocks were measured today, it seemed to have lined up with those on other continents. </div>]]></description>
