We have since discovered that the Earth revolves around the sun.
Through study over many years, We now can understand better where exactly in the universe planet Earth is. The universe is big, and is ever expanding. The measure where we are is based on what is called the ‘Observable Universe’. Our own Solar System is made up of our own star.
There are 8 planets revolving around the sun.

The Moon is a dusty ball of rock, Its surface is home to mountains, huge craters and flat planes called ‘seas’ made of hardened lava. The Moon is Earth’s only natural satellite. The moon doesn’t produce its own light. It reflects light from the Sun. Temperatures can reach a scorching 127 ° C., but when the Sun ‘goes down’, temperatures can reach around -153°C. The Moon has gravity.
