Kashubian costumes were characterized by seven-color embroidery.

cornflower color - reflecting the beautiful Kashubian lakes;
blue - like the sky over Kashubia;
navy blue - like the depths of the sea;
yellow - like cereals in the fields;
green - like forests full of game;
red - like blood that Kashub is ready to shed for defending the homeland,
