 We use Brain Pop across all subject areas. Brain Pop has lots of videos, lesson plans, and resources to use in your classroom. Specifically, I like to use this resource for social studies videos. My mentor and team members plan together using Google Docs. During planning, we record all information in the Google Doc so that the principal can review planning. The student gets very frustrated and refuses to complete any writing assignements. To assist this student we put all of the writing and reading assignments on GoogleDocs and used the text to speech feature. This was extremely helpful for him and assisted him in completing all reading and writing tasks.
