         <title>WEEK 1 (SEP 15)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Average and Instantaneous Velocity</strong><br><br><strong>1.</strong> This week's lesson was interesting. It is because solving instantaneous and average velocities were somewhat difficult. Also, it involved Math and solving which piqued my interest more compared to memorizing of concepts.<br><br><strong>2.</strong> Because the lesson involved solving for the velocities and a small part of Grade 11 Calculus, I found myself engaging more during the discussion in order to understand it better. It was important to follow every step of the solution to understand the process of obtaining the <em>correct </em>answer. Also, a lot of chances were given for us to engage during the discussion.<br><br><strong>3.</strong> The recall of Grade 11 Calculus caught me off-guard, so it was quite difficult to follow the lesson at first. Solving velocities also involved different processes. Thus, it was important to know <em>what </em>to find next and <em>how </em>to find it through the flow of your solution — I found this particularly difficult.<br><br><strong>4. </strong>The discussion itself was sufficient, but I believe either: a) taking more time in solving a problem so that students are able to follow it completely; or b) providing more examples with answers (possibly during discussions or if time cannot permit, simply a not-recorded homework that'll serve as a reviewer especially for those who need more practice) will make it easier for us to completely understand the lesson, especially because it requires Math solutions.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 2 (OCT 04 &amp; 06)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Acceleration<br><br>1. </strong>We mostly did a recap of the previous lesson discussed the week before our Work Immersion, as well as an introduction to acceleration. I found it interesting because the recap made me understand the previous lesson better compared to the first week we tackled it, and the lesson of acceleration also focused on its concept, as well as the quantities that could affect it.<br><br><strong>2.&nbsp;</strong>This week's topic focused more on concepts rather than computation, so answering conditional questions (If A is faster, will B also be faster?) made the lesson engaging and easier to understand.</div><div><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>Rather than having difficulty in understanding, I had difficulty in mastering the components controlling acceleration. Since one often affects the other, I had to pay attention to the answered conditional questions to reach a conclusion and achieve a better understanding.<br><br><strong>4.&nbsp;</strong>This week's lesson was comparably easier to understand compared to the previous lesson that focused on computations, and I was satisfied with the delivery of instruction. I look forward to more exercises and examples that may accompany the continuation of the lesson to help us master the lesson.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 3 (OCT 11 &amp; 13)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lessons: Acceleration, Predicting and Interpreting Graphs Involving Uniform Acceleration and Uniform Motion</strong><br><br><strong>1.</strong> This week's topics were interesting, because I was stimulated to study at the idea of Math being incorporated with Science, specifically Physics. The lessons also required proper understanding, especially because when predicting graphs, if you don't understand the three concepts involved (namely position, velocity, and acceleration) and their relationships, you will not be able to answer the questions included in the lesson.<br><br><strong>2.</strong> This week's topic was incredibly engaging for me, since I personally enjoy Math topics that I can understand. Actively answering questions during the discussions were important to follow and fully understand the lesson, and I naturally found myself engaging in class with the frequent asking of questions by the teacher as exercises.<br><br><strong>3.</strong> I initially had difficulty understanding how to predict graphs involving uniform acceleration and uniform motion; however, when it was taught again in the second meeting and even a small game was done to review it, the lesson became completely clear to me. The situation was the same for the first lesson, which was acceleration, wherein I needed a recap to fully understand the lesson. I believe I found difficulty the first time around because I can't grasp too many new lessons or concepts in a day, and I think being given a new lesson that advances too fast in a discussion gives me a hard time to understand it.<br><br><strong>4. </strong>I really commend Sir for always doing a review of the previous lesson, not only because I’m forgetful, but also because I’m able to understand the lesson best when it’s discussed for the second time. I believe that the delivery of instruction that my teacher does is sufficient, since he always gives us enough examples and practice problems. I also know that it’s due to the lack of time that lessons are limited to a few meetings. I believe that to understand the lesson, I, too, must exert added effort in engaging and paying attention during the discussion.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 4 (OCT 18 &amp; 20)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lessons: Kinematic (Motion) Problems, Reaction Time<br><br>1. </strong>This week’s topics were interesting, especially because both motion and reaction time word problems require proper comprehension. Personally, I find word problems difficult since it not only demands one to know the solving process but also requires thorough understanding and visualization of what the problem is expressing. Since I consider it both a challenge and something that I believe I can do with enough practice, I found myself being interested in solving these word problems.<br><br><strong>2. </strong>I found myself only occasionally engaging this week, most probably because the lessons mostly consisted of similar word problems that seemed “monotonous”. Although I enjoy Math, doing it for both Chemistry and Physics might have been the reason for my enthusiasm towards solving in Science to be drained. However, I tried to engage as much as I could for the parts I could catch up on during the discussion.<br><br><strong>3. </strong>In understanding the lessons, I remember having difficulty in differentiating the solving processes between Chemistry and Physics since the two involved word problems. For Physics, I believe that the lessons were fairly simple once I understood how to visualize the situation at-hand, what to find in the problem, and how to utilize the given values to gain the final answer, yet sometimes, I also have difficulty in knowing which formula to use.<br><br><strong>4. </strong>I personally might have been looking forward to a variety of some sort when it came to the method of delivery, since solving similar word problems with the same method was a bit tedious. However, I deeply appreciate the way the instructor slowly and surely progressed with the lessons, especially because I, myself, can sometimes be a slow learner under certain circumstances (e.g. lack of sleep, lack of motivation due to “burn out” brought by school requirements, in general). I also believe that the instructor is putting in more than enough effort for us to fully understand the lessons; thus, it makes me want to exert more effort into understanding them and participating when being asked to during class discussion.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 5 (NOV 03)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Free Fall</strong><br><br><strong>1.</strong> I found this week’s topic interesting, because again, it involved thorough analysis and Mathematical solutions. I realized that it turned out to be a recap of a lesson that was discussed in 8th or 9th grade, which back then, I didn’t understand quite well. Because the topic was somewhat familiar, I found myself paying attention and gaining interest as we solved word problems related to free fall.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>2.</strong> This week’s topic was engaging, for we were tested to visualize the example problems and to solve them with the class during the discussion. Since I also found the topic interesting and familiar, I found myself naturally understanding the lesson and engaging in the discussion. I knew that I had to engage so that I could follow the teacher’s instruction, especially for visualizing the problem stated and utilizing the given to find the final answer so that I will not have much difficulty if I were to solve freefall-related problems alone.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>3.</strong> Although I haven’t encountered much difficulties in the example problems, I have a feeling that it is likely for me to have difficulty in visualizing or analyzing a problem. Personally, solving isn’t quite difficult, especially because we now only have three equations to choose from instead of four (referring to the previous kinematic word problems lesson), but visualizing the situation is. If I cannot understand the situation correctly, my answer will most likely be incorrect, or I may get confused while solving as I do not know the correct variable that I am trying to find.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>4.</strong> For this week’s topic, I have no suggestions to improve our teacher’s delivery of instruction. Our teacher was always encouraging and clear in his discussion of concepts from the start until the end of class, and this influenced me to listen and to be somewhat enthusiastic about the lesson despite being tired from a week's worth of workload. I understood the lesson well, and he emphasized the points in the lesson that we were most likely to forget or neglect (and I agree with these points), which I greatly commend him for. I am grateful that although I did not understand this lesson before when it was tackled in junior high, I was able to understand it well now in senior high.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 6 (NOV 08)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Free Fall (Continuation)<br><br>1.</strong> Week 6's discussion was somewhat interesting, since it involved the review of free fall-related problems and highlighted the most challenging problems given to us for the CGPS activity.<br><br><strong>2.</strong> The week's discussion was engaging, for we had to pay attention and make sure that we knew the processes involved in solving the problems since we will only be able to answer the given CGPS problems correctly through this discussion.<br><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>I belatedly realized that the most difficult thing to do when solving these problems is, not only the analyzation of the given and the problem, but also the correct usage of the formulas given. Although some formulas seem appropriate from the problem if we were to solely base from the given, it may provide an incorrect answer if the wrong formula is utilized. I still believe that I have problems in analyzing this, if not for the uniformity observed in the processes involved in solving free fall problems.<br><br><strong>4.&nbsp;</strong>This week's discussion was merely a continuation, but I found myself looking at Free Fall problems as greater challenges than before, since the new problems were difficult for us to solve alone. I'm very grateful, though, for the teacher's effort to teach us the particular parts in which we've had difficulty with, and I believe that the lack of time was a great limitation in our developed understanding of the lesson. To develop the delivery of instruction, time would've been a major factor for the teacher to promote understanding, wherein a greater period of time would've made us comprehend and master the discussion easier and better.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 1 (NOV 24)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Projectile Motion</strong><br><br><strong>1.</strong> This week's topic was somewhat interesting, as it was a lesson familiar to me. The lesson was taught prior to the start of classes as a demonstration; thus, having background knowledge about projectile motion made the lesson interesting and easy to follow. Following the previous lessons, I've noticed that projectile motion is somewhat a combination, for the previous lessons focused on only one aspect (either horizontal or vertical, whether velocity or distance), whereas projectile motion focused on two.<br><br><strong>2. </strong>The topic was also engaging, since I had interest in the discussion right from the start. Due to the educator's teaching strategy, wherein he utilized games to make a simulation of the lesson as well as to serve as an icebreaker, I was able to enjoy and engage during the discussion. The fact that my mind did not need to be bombarded with a new lesson right from the start and instead, a game was done to wake our senses, increased my engagement. The same is true for the review through the Quizizz app at the end of the discussion.<br><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>As for now, I haven't encountered any difficulties in understanding the concepts involving Projectile Motion. I've understood and remembered the necessary information about projectiles and how projectile motion happens; however, I'm afraid that I'll encounter difficulties when having to solve word problems.<br><br><strong>4.&nbsp;</strong>I would like to commend the educator's approach for this week, as he utilized games as: a) an icebreaker prior to the discussion; and b) a review. It made the lesson particularly easier to remember than when not utilizing educational games; also, I believe that students are generally inclined to engage in anything that involves games. His way of explaining during the discussion, as well as the fact that he answers questions openly and simplifies explanations when needed, was also something I would like to commend, but I believe is already something common in his teaching style. I have no other suggestions to improve in the educator's way of teaching.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 2 (NOV 29 &amp; DEC 01)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Projectile Motion (Continuation)<br><br>1. </strong>The past discussions for the week were interesting, as the concepts of projectile motion were now integrated with solving. I came to understand these concepts better as we solved word problems with varying situations. Also, it's interesting as to how such real life situations, such as shooting a ball, can be calculated and measured through Physics.<br><br><strong>2. </strong>In every lesson wherein solving is involved, I often seem to be twice as invested in the lesson than normal, as it is something I am both confident in and something I know I will have great difficulty in if I wasn't able to understand. The discussion was indeed engaging, as we were encouraged to recite in every step of each solution. I believe that it was also easier for me to follow the lesson due to regular engagement during the discussion.<br><br><strong>3. </strong>As for the previously discussed problems, I had little to no difficulty in understanding them. I do find it difficult sometimes as to which formula must be used, but besides this, the problems were adequately discussed, the important points were emphasized, and the difficult lesson was somewhat easy for me to understand; however, as applies whenever we have lessons in problem-solving, I fear that being given an unfamiliar word problem may be quite difficult for me to solve correctly without assistance.<br><br><strong>4. </strong>Since the lesson was clear, I have no further suggestions to improve the method of delivery. I see much progress in the instructor's delivery despite already being sufficient for my learning preference, and I am glad that he takes the effort to make the lesson as interesting as it can be through games, assignments, and even just his optimistic attitude towards teaching, for I am easily influenced with a positive mindset.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 3 (DEC 6)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Projectile Motion (cont.), Newton's Law Review<br><br>1.&nbsp;</strong>The 3rd Week's overall discussion was quite interesting. As we had a brief discussion of the assignment regarding projectile motion, our classmate shared the various wonders about guns, rifles, and its relation to projectile. It was interesting to see airsoft guns in real-time, and how this shared information was quite timely, given the lesson. I also enjoyed the brief review for Newton's Law afterwards. The great variety in the lesson flow made the overall discussion very interesting.<br><br><strong>2.&nbsp;</strong>Although it wasn't evident during the period, I found myself very engaged and invested in the discussion. It might be because of the unpredictable flow of the lesson that had me interested and engaged. The review for the assignment allowed me to engage as it required our utmost attention for the full understanding of the overall process, the story and information shared by our classmate was somewhat a breath of fresh air from the technical concepts discussed for the lesson, and the review involving a different lesson was like a cherry-on-top that maximized my engagement in class.<br><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>I didn't encounter any concerning difficulties during the past discussion. Although I wasn't able to answer one of the problems from the assignment given, I quickly understood it once it was explained. I also seem to have no problem recalling what was previously taught.<br><br><strong>4.&nbsp;</strong>I have no suggestions for the improvement of our teacher's delivery. Although the flow was not as refined due to unexpected stories being narrated and shared, I really enjoyed the session. The teacher also did not fail in delivering his positive energy to the students, and the lessons were taught very well.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 4 (DEC 13 &amp; 15)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Newton's Law of Motion<br><br>1.&nbsp;</strong>Personally, this topic was the least interesting compared to the previous lessons that we've tackled for the second semester. Since I was absent on the first day, I wasn't able to get a good foundation or hold of the flow of the entire lesson which made me lose interest for last Wednesday's discussion. However, I made sure to listen well during the lesson to make sure that I do not miss on such an opportunity to review the concepts involved in Newton's Law of Motion.<br><br><strong>2.&nbsp;</strong>This week's discussion, despite being the least interesting for my personal preference, was quite engaging. The teacher smoothly integrated these Physics concepts with real-life situations and questions which made some concepts somewhat easier to understand, as well as some side-stories that may have seem unrelated but was a breath of fresh air for a student who undergoes hours of continuous Zoom lectures.<br><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>I had quite the difficulty in understanding a few concepts discussed since I was absent the first time the lesson was discussed and the review seemed like a mere 'crash course' before we proceeded with the new lesson. Sometimes, I would completely understand the concept but would have trouble in mastering them.<br><br><strong>4.&nbsp;</strong>I do not have any suggestions to improve the teacher's way of delivery. I do believe that, although it was difficult for me to understand and master some concepts, I should have studied the discussion held last Monday (December 13) to fully understand the context of lesson discussed afterwards last Wednesday (December 15) as well as the idea of Newton's Law of Motion as a whole. Despite being barely able to remember a lesson that was discussed back in Junior High School and being absent for a day, it was nice to understand the discussion due to the teacher's way of delivery.</div>]]></description>

         <title>WEEK 5 (JAN 5)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Newton's Law (Review)<br></strong><br><strong>1.&nbsp;</strong>The discussion last Wednesday was interesting, for it had been a long time since we've discussed a lesson due to the Christmas break. Discussed was a brief review on Newton's Law, particularly the application of the second law or the Law of Acceleration. Although the introduction was a review of the discussion held before the break, its smooth transition to the current, new lesson made me gain interest in the overall discussion.<br><br><strong>2.&nbsp;</strong>Discussing the application of the second law was more engaging to me rather than the review. Since the application of the second law required problem-solving skills, I found myself naturally engaging in the discussion to understand its process, especially because it wasn't particularly difficult to understand.<br><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>I have yet to find the difficult subtopic within this lesson. I found the concepts and problem-solving examples taught to be quite simple; however, since the discussion is yet to be finished, I believe that I may have difficulties in mastering the future lessons as they get difficult.<br><br><strong>4. </strong>With our return from such a long break, although the brief review as an introduction was sufficient for us, students, to be put back on track, I believe that the teacher's delivery of instruction could've been made more memorable and more engaging if a game was done for the review. Personally, I found myself remembering things better through other media like Quizizz, and it also encourages me more to answer correctly. I also believe that this will give all students the chance to ponder on the conceptual questions on their own rather than as a group. Besides this, the manner in which the review and lesson was imparted to us was already sufficient.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Newton's Law of Motion (Review and Continuation of the Second Law)<br><br>1. </strong>I had quite a difficult time in gaining interest from the past week's discussion. Given that we've only returned from a week-long break, I was yet to return to my motivated and attentive state. I was quite interested, though, in the sample problems that were discussed, since it is important for us to pay attention to these processes to be able to answer future Physics problems that may be present in the exams.<br><br><strong>2. </strong>For the past week, I also believe that I minimally engaged in the discussions, spinning between <em>yes's</em> and <em>no's</em> as responses during the lessons. It was expected, since even if it was a recap, we wouldn't be able to properly recall the concepts and answer the teacher's questions if they were not taught to us again.<strong><br><br>3. </strong>Something that I would like to emphasize in this entry is that, although I had difficulty in gaining motivation and properly understanding the discussions held in different subjects, it was easy for me to understand the concepts in Physics again once they were recalled. The way the discussion was held was not in the manner that was too overwhelming for a student returning from break, and it was also not incredibly less than the minimum. Although I barely became interested and barely engaged during class, it wasn't difficult for me to absorb the concepts discussed.<strong><br><br>4. </strong>The teacher's delivery of instruction, particularly his patience for us, was something I greatly appreciate. It encouraged me to focus on the discussion, and the calm manner of recalling the lessons somewhat reassured me that rather than forcing myself to understand the concepts being discussed, it is alright to take my time to completely absorb them. I also have observed that due to this manner of the teacher's delivery of instruction and discussion, it is easier for me to retain the ideas present in previously-taught lessons, possibly also because we have been discussing Newton's Law for a few weeks now.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Forces &amp; Friction<br></strong><br><strong>1.&nbsp;</strong>I found the past week's lesson to be interesting. The situations discussed during the lesson commonly happened in real life, particularly the involvement of tension, weight, and friction. Although Atwood's Machine was a foreign contraption to us, the explanation of its concept was fairly easy to understand. Since the previous discussion involved word problems (of course, physics cannot be without mathematics) as well, I find myself to be fully invested.<br><br><strong>2.&nbsp;</strong>The past week's discussion was also engaging. Although I barely participated during the discussion, I found myself actively following the teacher's solutions as I tried to solve other problems on my own. The teacher also made the environment friendly and made it more comfortable for us to engage during the discussion.<br><br><strong>3.&nbsp;</strong>Personally, since the concepts were well-explained and were well-integrated with the word problems given after, I had no difficulty in understanding and mastering the lessons.&nbsp;I cannot say that I fully memorized all the concepts and ideas, but rather, I was able to properly comprehend their meanings.<br><br><strong>4.&nbsp;</strong>I'm satisfied with the teacher's method of delivery. The clear explanation of the concepts made it incredibly easy to answer the word problems that followed the end of the lesson. One thing I would like to suggest, as a student, are possibly 1-2 more word problem examples to be offered as an "optional assignment" and with corresponding answer keys, so that we may test our understanding on our own and that we may use as our review for the exam; however, I may stand corrected as in the previous week, we had a review for the first exam, which in itself, was sufficient to test our understanding.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Friction (Continuation: Word Problems)</strong></div><ol><li>Personally, this week’s lesson made it difficult for me to be greatly intrigued and invested in the discussion. It must have been because it was a continuation of friction (specifically involving word problems), which has been discussed for the previous two weeks, as well as the real-life applications of the problems, which I, myself, found difficult to relate to.</li><li>Due to this week’s lesson being less intriguing than the others, I found myself being less engaged during the discussion. Having excessive school requirements to fulfill and losing sleep might’ve also been a factor, but I found the word problems to be somewhat monotonous; I presume that it’s because it wasn’t as diverse as those discussed during the <em>Projectile Motion </em>lesson.</li><li>Fortunately, despite lacking interest and barely engaging during the class discussion, the lesson was not at all difficult to understand for me. The concepts involved in the word problems and the process it undergoes (why the given were solved as they were, and what it has to do with the concepts under friction) were well-explained and were easy to follow. I would also like to note that the enthusiasm of the teacher once again played a great role in me desiring to listen attentively as a student.</li><li>I would have suggested that the teacher take his time to call students directly just to make sure that everyone can participate and that everyone follows the lesson especially those who are less likely to participate during synchronous classes; however, since it’s being implied, I have no other suggestions to improve the delivery of instruction. The way the lesson was discussed was seamless, and the teacher was also welcoming towards any queries that the students may have had, which makes it easier for us to actually ask if we had any clarifications.&nbsp;</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lessons: Angle of Repose and Angle of Uniform Slip, Laws of Rolling &amp; Viscous Friction, Newton's 3rd Law of Interaction</strong><br><br></div><ol><li>The previous week’s topic was interesting, for the concepts discussed required a deep understanding but were actually easy to understand. In particular, I found the logical inquiries of the teacher to the students involving the lesson (specifically the portion we were asked about some situations included under Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion) very interesting. Since the concepts were also closely related to many real-life situations, I naturally found myself intrigued during the discussion.</li><li>The discussion was indeed engaging. The fact that we were challenged to think of the possible reasons behind why such concepts happen as they do made me focus on the topic at hand, and it also served as a way for me to retain the information mentioned.</li><li>I found no difficulty in understanding the topics discussed; however, since there were quite a lot discussed in one sitting, I may have found difficulty in remembering all of them. I only remember particular portions wherein we were encouraged to engage during the discussion, yet for the rest, I remember only little of them. In particular, they were the angle of repose and the angle of uniform slip; however, if I were to look back on the lesson once more, it’s still relatively easy to understand since it was discussed well.</li><li>In terms of the method of delivery, I have no suggestions to mention. The lesson was discussed briefly, logically, and meaningfully, as they were easy to understand and were always related to real-life situations.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
