First of all because Jon was very friendly and he is a native English person. I was able to ask him things about the language like accents and slang. He is also a person who has traveled a lot, so I was able to ask him and practice my English based on those questions about some countries, for example, Jon has been to Japan and my favorite country is Japan, so I had many questions to ask about culture, values, language among other things.
