I liked having the ability to demonstrate what I had learned through drawing them out especially for the top three concept maps I listed below it was fun scrolling through the text until I found something that caught my eye that I felt I was going to be able to represent in some way.

My top 3 concept maps are Intro to Human Development (the 8 drawings showing the stages of life), Cognitive Development (the cat that is viewed by a child as a dog due to existing schemas), and Socioemotional development (the girl demonstrating independent play). The reason I like these specific concept maps is because I think I did really well in drawing them and they helped me understand the material.

What I learned about the Human Development Lifespan by compiling this portfolio is, I feel, a good mix of biological/physical, cognitive, and longitudinal information. I think my concept maps paint a fair though not fully conclusive picture of our life over the years, especially when it comes to the first concept map I did, which I am really proud of because of how good it came out. It was actually quite fun drawing an old person because in art it's actually really easy to make someone look older than you intended but that was the whole point of the drawing so I didn't have to worry about it.
