What I learned from this book was that never loose trust in your friends.
The two main characters are best friends and when one of them makes varsity on soccer and other does not they both still try to be friends but the one that made varsity gets more attention from students and slowly starts to talk less to her friend because she has got more people and then she gets angry when her best friend the one who did not reach varsity tells her own mother that she went to a party without her permission because her friend who made varsity insisted so then they slowly fall apart and with a twist in a story come back together.
